Its basically fine ground matzo crackers Sandra......... you can get them from Waitrose & Sainsburys, they are sometimes in the World Food aisle but I've found them with the Jacobs crackers........... they're used un kosher cooking in place of breadcrubs, quite nice with a bit of cheese on top too

I can share some of my recipes though, modified from Jamie Oliver's, my homemade mint sauce.... Fresh mint 6 tblsp Red wine vinegar 1 tblsp of boiling water 1 tsp Sugar Salt 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar 1/3 tsbp of chilli powder (my fella's homemade) Shake it every half hour and leave it in the fridge, the most intense & spicy mint sauce you've ever tried

Sadie, make sure the leeks are well broken down, then the flavours have all merged you want a bite but not a full on curry type taste, a warmth Thanks Sandra, will bookmark the thread so i can re-look at it tomoz. ive brought 6 leeks today for doing soup with, but i'll use them for the cawl, like the idea of the warming effect with curry. i love food fullstop, so this is right up my street lol
