Late Mail

I was disappointed today that the vapemail I was expecting from The Alchemists Cupboard and UK E-Cig Store didn't arrive but I know the run up to Christmas is a busy time and delays are to be expected with all the extra post. Our post is usually delivered late morning but sometimes lately it has been mid afternoon before it has arrived.

Just before 7.30 tonight, I heard something come through the letter box. Expecting junk mail, I went to pick it up and was totally gob smacked to find my two vapemail packages on the mat. I was very pleased of course but had to feel sorry for our postie trudging round at that time of night.

My vapemail didn't arrive until 6pm today.

I know the feeling, I am waiting on deliveries from both vendors too!

My vapemail is unusually slow, I know the vendors are good but it is getting really dragged out, even Jason's for my daughter hasn't turned up and he is always on the ball, RM must be overwhelmed atm.

we got no mail in our little area today, roads were near at gridlock, & snow, hoping a few will arrive tomoz

Most vendors are pretty quick at sending stuff out and I think Royal Mail do a good job in getting it to us for the next day, especially now they are extra busy with the Christmas post too. Last December, I think there were a few times when we had post delivered around 4-5 o'clock but I've never seen a postman out delivering at 7.30pm before.

i remember last year a couple of pressie's from amazon didnt arrive till after xmas. cant make that mistake again , i need to get organised this year.

Chatting to my postie, they're grateful we order and still use RM, they know there's other alternatives these days. And the overtime comes in handy too.

That was him on his way back after a couple of pints, or was that Ernie the milk man.

I posted 3 parcels in a Post Office at about 2pm (well before the 5:30 collection time) all weighed and first class postage applied by the post office, yet they still took 2 days to get delivered >

I'm hoping mine arrives tomorrow - went for delivery to work so I don't have to pick up from the depot, but I'm off on Friday. Fingers crossed!

Edit: just noticed in my banner than I've now avoided 300 cigs. Woohoo!!!

I'm still waiting for an item from feebay which was posted on 30th November. But I received some e liquid today that I ordered early on Tuesday morning!
