vaping, paypal and proxy servers/VPN

Just thought I would let you all know that if you buy your supplies online AND use paypal AND use proxy servers or VPN tunnelling you can have your account suspended >

Have just spent the last hour on the phone with paypal verifying my I.D.

I can see why they would as it would look suspect to them. Any reason why you would use a proxy server?. I can see the reason for a VPN, but not a proxy server unless you are a business.

If you're using public proxies and vpn's then theyll be getting multiple requests from the same address and itll look suspiscous, also they have ways of seeing whether the address is a home/business ip and if its a proxy in most cases. Best way is running through your own vpn if you either want privacy or require the same address as other locations for various applications.

Another thing to note ref public proxy servers is quite often they are setup by hackers to phish passwords etc. Also there is a lot of debate about many of the well known public proxy servers being setup by governments to monitor people who use proxy servers to try and hide their identities.
