My hubby is stumped on what to buy me for my 60th birthday next week so he's asked me for some suggestions. To be honest, I'm pretty much stumped too as I can't think of anything I particularly want so I'm thinking of something to do with vaping. I still use the ego/riva batteries that I began vaping with, along with a twist and a spinner so guess the next step would be my first mod. I'm leaning towards the Vamo as I like the look of it and most people seem impressed with it but it took me a while to "get" how much difference vv made to my vaping so I'm worried that the Vamo might be too complicated for me to use as I don't understand all the technical stuff about volts, wattage and what have you. Do I really need to understand the technical stuff, or will it all fall into place as I use and get to know the device? Are these all the same model, or are there differences between them? Apart from the prices, the only differences I can see is the colour of the buttons but don't know if I'm missing something? www.vapourworld.co.uk/shop/catalog/details?shop_param=www.health-e-vape.co.uk/vamo-vvvw-mod-4177-p.aspwww.vapeescape.co.uk/ego-vv%2Fvw-18650-mod-vamo~466Would I need more than one of each 18350 and 18650 battery? Which would be the most suitable battery charger to get?

You should check that the one you buy is the latest version. The newer ones have an extra insulation pad to make them work safely with flat head batteries. they also have an improved spring.
I got mine from Vapeescape and they have these updates. The black chrome ones look great.

Good advice there from Steve, I bought one for £31 I think and it has the insulation on but only a 30 day warranty, needed one for my daughter for xmas and decided I wanted the extra cover as its a pressie so bought from Vape escape, the black chrome looks lush and it has the updated spring as well.

the metal matching buttons look nicer IMO using the code RAFFLE from VE will take 10% off the price and you get a raffle ticket to boot

Depending on whether price is the major issue many vendors sell them from £20-£40.
If you want top backup & service you`ll pay more but you will have the reassurance that things will be sorted should they go wrong.
I think Jason @ve is the only vendor offering a good (3month) warranty.

The Vamo is great, but it is big and heavy! You would soon get the hang of using it. One of each battery is a minimum, two of each would be better You could always start with one of each and keep a look out for good deals on some more. The Xtar chargers are good. Another good reasonably priced charger is the Sysmax Nitecore Intellicharger V4 which has the bonus that you can charge ordinary household re-chargeable batteries in it as well. If you want to get it for Christmas I would stick to a UK vendor now The added advantage is you won't have to post it back to China if you have a problem as I am having to do!

I have only been vaping for 6 weeks . I use an EGO with CE4/5 and have just ordered a Viva mini Nova. Im so tempted to try a Vamo , just to see what difference if any it would make. As you stated jeanie it would be a nice chrissy present, but to myself lol.

Thanks everybody. Hubby is paying for it so price isn't an issue as far as I'm concerned It was more a case of me wanting to know if some weren't the real deal, like with the Vivi Novas. I would prefer to buy from a UK vendor as it's less hassle and as I buy most of my vaping stuff from Jason, I'd probably buy it from him anyway. I've been reading up and watching videos about it and feel more confident that I'll be able to understand how to use it and if I do have any problems, I know I can always post here for help.

Talisman, I was looking at this one www.vapeescape.co.uk/xtar-wp2ii-charger~408 I have sent for both sizes of battery and I think the other two chargers don't fit the smaller battery, or have I got that wrong? I tell you, I do easily get confused.
