ive recently got a kir franis tank with the little screw in the top for easy fill, which it is by the way. this lasts me a full 24hrs at least but im wondering is it more advisable to fill/top up in between as i am thinking a full tank will fill the inside of the carto to the same level as the juice therefore being wetter and giving a slightly better performance if nearer full rather than nearly empty or does it not matter. i never actually let it run empty until im about too change the carto.

I don't think it matters how full a tank is so long as the level is above the hole in the carto! I could be wrong though

A carto needs to be filled separately from the tank on the initial fill from new, it is possible for the carto to stay dry at the top half otherwise thereby not good for it, obviously bottom coil kangers dont apply

I could be wrong though thanks karma, it was more a bit of a brainwave really A carto needs to be filled separately from the tank on the initial fill from new, it is possible for the carto to stay dry at the top half otherwise thereby not good for it, obviously bottom coil kangers dont apply thanks skwoddy, i condom fill before putting it in the tank but really was just wondering if a full tank performs slightly better. my thinking is if you placed a tube into a bath of water with an inch out of the water the water will fill the tube to an inch from the top, so im guessing the same principle would apply to a carto in a tank therefore keeping it very wet as opposed to just wet, and since this particular tank is a very easy fill it may be worth re filling at say half full. but would this improve the vape experience or is it a pointless exercise/thought. raggy............

Keeping all the wadding and therefore the coil wet is your only worry, I imagine both performance and longevity of the cart would increase, keep doing it the way you do, but putting a dry carto in a tank doesnt work the same way as your tube in a bath scenario because of pressure difference

I havnt noticed the carto getting overly saturated when the tank is full. I think it may depends on the size if the hole and amount of holes too, but with 1 standard sized hole i didnt get any leaking issues with my standard dct. I think if there was a leak at the top or bottom seal then maybe the air will cause it to fill up more. It must be that the carto filler provides some kind of resistance with the air pressure being at a particular level in the tube. The same problem can occur with say the bottom coil kanger t3 as all whats stopping the liquid from coming through is a small bit of wick, but luckily it doesnt leak lol
