CE4 CLEAROMISER length of wick question

Morning.
I bought a couple of CE4 CLEAROMISERs, 2.5 OHM and when I got them the wicks are only a few mm long. The previous CE4's I have had, the wicks are almost the full length of the clearomiser. So is there something wrong with these, or is this normal?? (Sorry if this is a dumb question, but new to this.)

Quite normal, when using this type of clearo you need to tilt it so that the juice can come in contact with the top of the wick. I found when re-wicking them that it made little difference to performance whether I used short wicks or long wicks as long as I tilted regularly

Ahhhh good. Many thanks for putting my mind at rest. I will crack on with using one of them (saving the other one for when my Grants turns up, as want a virgin Clearomizer to try it out.)

I think people now sell long wick , so you cut them if you want short

Another question while I am on (and to save opening a new thread).
I bought a Vision Mini Vivi Nova and a Vision Clearomizer 3.5ml Cone/Plinth but the plinth does not seem to fit, have I bought the wrong size? I am using an eGo 900mah battery.

Yep suede has the answer, it's the smaller one you need for the mini

IMO the short wick ones were better, and I miss them - difficult to find now. I've basically reverted to Boges.
