Okay, sod the expense, I have added a 3 port QC3.0 USB plug (Will help charge my phone up quicker too, and the vc4s charger. Many thanks for your help, really much appreciated. In the scheme of things.... that's a couple of packets of 'cigs equivalent'  Hopefully will last you another 10 years! To be fair, I also felt I best add a bottle of single malt to the delivery to make it worth while for the driver  |

Much difference between the XTAR VC4 and the XTAR VC4S? So the XTAR VC4 is only £18.99 Charging speeds are different as well as display. VC 2batts@1Amp 2@0.5Amp VCS 2batts@2Amp 4@1Amp  Looking at those figures, I wonder what my old xtar charges at, it must be over 10 years old easy. |

That price makes more sense! A little more than Fogstar (with Friday 20% Friday discount)... but free postage. For fast charging you also need a QC3.0 USB plug... for slower charging a standard USB plug adapter Okay, sod the expense, I have added a 3 port QC3.0 USB plug (Will help charge my phone up quicker too, and the vc4s charger. Amazon have the xtar vc4s for £13.99, not worth shopping about for that price, guess I will just have to go over to the dark side with the USB plug. As long as they're genuine,,,, tread carefully with random suppliers, Nitecore had a major issue a few years ago with cheap imitations. If it wasnt bad enough that people copied batteries. The seller is xtardirect, and supplied my amazon so should be fine......I hope. |

Also, was trying to avoide one that needed a USB, but it seems production has moved that way on most of the chargers out there. I like a good old 3 pin plug.

Many thanks for your reply. Do they charge batteries without buttons on the top too, as that was a problem with my current xtar charger (before it started just charging on one port).

After a long time away, I have charged up my ecig again and popped back. My, it seems a lot quieter  Anyway, can anyone recommend a safe charger for 18650 batteries without the button. My xtar charger is playing up, and decided to work on just one of the 2 slots, and does not recognise batteries without the button anyway. I have had it a long time, so been a good workhorse, but time for a new one, Anyone out there recommend one please? |
