Anyone who saw the photos I posted yesterday ("CE4 glowing red" in the general discussion) will see I have a problem with the non-rebuildable CE4 clearo I got with my starter kit. I have decided to stop using it until I hear back from the vendor (and in fairness I only mailed them late yesterday).
So, I am now down to one. Having just taken delivery of a few new flavours to try, I have decided to order a 'squad' of rebuildable Vision V3s (are these the same as CE5s?).
I have found them on sale with varying resistances, 2.4 ohms and 2.9 ohms. I 'rediscovered' enough GCSE Physics to get my head around how resistance affects the vape - the higher the resistance the cooler it is, I think?
Would people recommend I get a few of each and just try them out? I am using an eGo-C 900 mAh battery. Or is one of the two likely to be closer to what I am used to already (couldn't find any ratings on the site I got the original CE4s from).
Does anyone have any thoughts? Any feedback appreciated...

Vision V3's are called CE5 or CE5+, yes. They are in essence replaceable head rather than a rebuildable, but the heads themselves can be rebuilt by users quite easily.
As you rightly said, for a given voltage higher resistance means cooler coil.
The "rating" is just an approximation. I would measure it myself with a simple fluke/multimeter. Yes you should experiment with different resistances and find one that suits you and the juice you are using. There is no substitute for experience and vaping is like food and everyone has their preference so there is no universal magic number though most people find an approx 2 ohm coil works well at around 3.7 volts.

Thanks guys - or to put it in the pitwall style of the team on the radio, "Thanks Macca, understood."
Will definitely get a range - particularly need spare capacity to experiment with flavours, etc.
