Jake - you have a good point there - is there such a petition, or should we see about starting one? I haven't the foggiest idea how to start, but I'm sure one of you does! Andy Here is the link: epetitions.direct.gov.uk/Anyone can create a petition. And the government have no option but to debate it in parliament until a decision has been made. Also I would suggest that IF it was able to get the desired numbers that as many people as possible arrange a trip to London to help promote this. The more News channels that are informed and the correct people who are good at speaking the better. It needs to be led by someone with good charisma (silver tongue). The more people in the know, the more of a stand off we have against the EU because it is the Tobacco companies that are lobbying for this regulation along with the pharmaceutical companies. The have more money than any of us can dream of and more money than ANY ecig foundation could raise. They also have the worlds best lawyers / lobbyists and would not bat an eye lid at paying top people off to ensure they get their way. From their point, if millions of people end up using ecigs they will loses billions. That is not an option for the greedy share holders and directors so they WILL fight it with every single penny they have. So as you can see in black and white there is a huge mountain to tackle with this (Dont mean to put a downer on anything). We are in a new age where we can communicate with pretty much all parts of the globe, for the first time we are now able to take on "the man" because WE are connected, WE cant be silenced and WE can be the voice that is heard NOT "The man". But that is not enough to make sure the future of esmoking is kept the way it is. ANY influential people must be in the know, people in legal services, government's etc need to be on our side. There is no middle ground because at the end of the day if it did indeed end up close to a banning legislation it would be supported by the big corporations who are the very people who pay the likes of Labor/Conservatives in "donations" IE: backroom deals to get their way. I am a barrister, for my sins (admittedly a pretty young one) - not sure exactly what I could do at this stage, but anything I can I will. Probably more pertinently, however, I do know for a fact that vaping has caught on in the offices (literally) of at least one very large and influential law firm near where I practice. It's a bit 'friends of friends' level at the moment, but I have literally just now only become aware of this Directive, reading this thread. I will get in touch with my friend and see if there is any possibility of some assistance.

Actually looked properly and found product I needed - sorry guys...
Hello everyone, I'm asking for more advice (once I know what I am doing I will try and contribute something!).
The last few weeks I have been using CE5 rebuildables. I have cleaned / washed the 'guts' a few times, the wick on most of them seems in OK condition, and I've been allowing them to dry properly, and have tried dry burning with the 'head' removed, all fine so far.
However, I have been having problems with O-rings (bad un-PC joke warning[/b][/color]): No Challenger disaster yet, thankfully. The last time I washed out two of the CE5s, the O-rings had gone from the the tip (I think this is the 'drip tip' - possible terminology problems, all I mean is the detachable mouthpiece you remove when filling) when I fished them out from the sink. I noticed that they had 'migrated' down into the 'body' of the clearo tank itself, presumably affected by the hot water. I thought 'what the hey' and carried on regardless, fired them up when they were dry, and have had predictable problems with leaking, and the 'bubbling' sound you get when you manage to get liquid in the airhole, against all advice.
So far, so what? What I am wondering is:
If I order just new plastic drip tips, will they come with the rubber O-rings? If not, can I buy them separately? I know they are probably worth like 2p each or something, but I am trying to treat the whole clearo unit as a 'medium term' disposable, and only change the heads (and now the mouthpiece) - as changing clearos x 3 every week or so will increase the ongoing cost quite substantially, and I am trying to make sure I'm spending far far less than I did on smoking.
Any help on whether tips will come with O-rings, or whether compatible O-rings are available separately, gratefully received as always.[/s]

Update: (and apologies for totally jocking this thread - on second thoughts should have posted a new topic :-[)
I have fully charged all 4 batteries and tried them with all 4 clearos. Only one battery / clearo combination seems at all dodgy. Of that combination, the battery can't seem to get my own clearos working at all. The clearo will work, but not quite as well as the others, with my 900 batteries.
Solution: try charging that battery again (it went green very quickly) and if it still doesn't fire, probably return just that battery.
Also, I realised I just happen not to like the juice that much myself (18mg 'TY4')!
Appreciate your help, guys, and your tolerance of my online buccaneering.

bing - when you say atomisers do you mean an old-school atomiser? 510/306/Ego-C/E-cab? etc. No, sorry, it's CE5 clearomiser. Going to try one of the others (my sister's) with a fully charged battery when I get in CR - yes, I will if it persists..

are you using the same thing on the 900mAh as the 650mAh? and the same juice? Yeah, I swapped it to test just the battery, Tried the new clearo / juice with my 900 batt (fine), then the 650 batt with my clearo / juice (better than it did with its 'own' clearo juice but really not great)

Thanks DJS - on the twist, I have it down at 3.2v. I'm only assuming that it is overpowering atomisers - there are other problems - like it doesn't seem to want to charge (solid red light instead of pulsing, LED switch not on). But yes, it's there as a spare for now. On the 650s, I think they work, just not as well as my 900s, so will give them to my ingenue family members and hope for the best! Also, yeah, I tried my clearo with the new 650 batt (not as good as with my batt, but better than the 650/new clearo combo worked), and the new clearo with my 900 battery, which worked much better, seemed to draw much more easily and produce more vapour and a 'deeper' hit. Not sure there's much else to do, I don't think they're really defective, just not what I'm used to maybe...

The other thing I should mention is that the thread connection doesn't really feel great, but I am nervous of overtightening, obviously.

The mAh rating shouldn't make any difference to the draw or how much it heats up a carto/clearo. Are your 900mAh batteries Riva's rather than ego's? If so, then the Riva does have a slightly higher voltage fresh off the charger than an ego. No, Chrissie, they're eGos (it says eGo 900 on the collar next to the LED - I couldn't tell the difference just by looking). Power output should be the same, it will just be how long the battery lasts between a 650mah and a 900mah. That's what I thought. And the 650 mah battery wasn't really a lot better after I charged it fully. Much confused now.

My friend at work just got this kit he put in 1.6ml has 8 cigs or so at work and has used half with one more break to go in 5 minutes:) But i must say he has got the Black Label Dr Peppar and it tastes so so goo, even better on my 900mah battery instead of the 600mah he is using. BUMP... As I was going to post a new thread asking this very question. I managed to convert my Dad and my Sister - The CE5 kit on Exhale was a great deal, with discount as well it was less than £20 for 2 of everything and CE5 clearos. And it arrived today, a mere three days after ordering. HOWEVER... I have used 900 mah batteries since I started (and also bought a ego twist which seems to have killed two atomiser heads already and I have stopped using). I tried out the 650 mah batteries, and there didn't seem to be any draw, at all. I found that by pressing the button a few seconds before trying to vape this helped a bit, but there seems to be more 'raw' juice flavour and much less vapour. It also feels like you have to pull harder. Is this because the batteries are less powerful as well as less durable than the 900s I am used to? Any help greatly appreciated as I feel a bit disappointed. Even to the extent of offering one of my 900s to my sister (I have lost one of the three I had, already) and risking the 1100 'spinner' on my own (rapidly diminishing) clearo reserves. Anyone? ???

I ordered stuff from VapeEscape yesterday, standard delivery. Was expecting it middle of next week. Turned up this morning! Seriously impressed.

As for me... press button, bring to lips, very gently barely suck for 6-8 seconds, open gob and slowly inhale then exhale Thank you! You have just saved me. I thought I was drawing gently compared to smoking but I wasn't - and I think this was the explanation for me making the coil glow on two CE4s which I sent back. And I agree with OP Tim - it has not gone to 'whoa!'

Thanks guys - or to put it in the pitwall style of the team on the radio, "Thanks Macca, understood."
Will definitely get a range - particularly need spare capacity to experiment with flavours, etc.

Anyone who saw the photos I posted yesterday ("CE4 glowing red" in the general discussion) will see I have a problem with the non-rebuildable CE4 clearo I got with my starter kit. I have decided to stop using it until I hear back from the vendor (and in fairness I only mailed them late yesterday).
So, I am now down to one. Having just taken delivery of a few new flavours to try, I have decided to order a 'squad' of rebuildable Vision V3s (are these the same as CE5s?).
I have found them on sale with varying resistances, 2.4 ohms and 2.9 ohms. I 'rediscovered' enough GCSE Physics to get my head around how resistance affects the vape - the higher the resistance the cooler it is, I think?
Would people recommend I get a few of each and just try them out? I am using an eGo-C 900 mAh battery. Or is one of the two likely to be closer to what I am used to already (couldn't find any ratings on the site I got the original CE4s from).
Does anyone have any thoughts? Any feedback appreciated...
