Changing coil resistance

Yesterday I re-headed 2 nova minis and a nova didn't check what resistance heads I put on just filled them up and popped them on the Vamo, the 2 minis showed 1.9 and the nova 2.7,the minis are on my 2 LTs and the nova is on the Vamo, last night for some reason I cranked the Vamo up to 15 watts to see what it would be like well after I'd finished coughing I dropped it back to 7watts but the nova is now reading 2.3 not 2.7 as before, now that the liquid level has dropped I can read the resistances the minis say 1.8 and the nova 2.8, minis still reading 1.9 on the Vamo, close enough, but the nova reads 2.3 a drop of 0.4 still vapes well but would be interested in any answers. thats pretty strange I guess, at 2.8ohm according to the chart

it would be pushing 6.5v at 15 watts, also it shows it goin into the red zone quite a bit, but then again everything in the "safe" zone goes up to around 8 max
I know after a while the resistance can go up, have noticed that on ce3s quite alot.
I wonder if part of the coil fused together lol

Yes, could also be a couple of turns of the coil just shorting together.
