Hi All. I seem to be wearing out the standard adapters very quickly, the 510 thread being brass, very quickly wears out. Worn out 3 adapters in as many weeks. Where can I get s/s adapter, if they are made. ??? Thanks for your help. jeffc

I think a Provape adapter will last you a longer time if you are wearing through that many..

I can recommend the ProVari eGo adapter from eCigWiz. Good value & fast service too (RM Xmas mail may delay tho).
Surprised your getting through so many adapters. Are you screwing em too tight?

Thanks for the info have ordered one. Problem started 2 weeks ago when using my new LT v2, with Kanger T3. 510-ego adapter required. Adapter only screwed tight with last few threads. Could almost push adapter into base of LT 510 threaded connector. All other atty`s, units fitted the LT perfectly without the need of adapter, using only 510 connector on the LT. All `steel` 510 fit perfect only the brass adapters problem with 510 threads.?????. Hopefully this new adapter will solve my problem, and that it is not a faulty 510 thread on my LT. (fingers crossed). jeffc

The new adapter will be handy when you get a ProVari too. Don't lose it

Arghh... I just ordered a SS one from UK-ecigs and bought £8 of other stuff to make the £10 free shipping. I wasn't prepared to buy one from another store for £2.99 (£4.99 for the good Provape ones) only to get slapped with £2-3 postage. Whoops, sorry. I'll let you know how it is though.... Dave PS - we've still got to fix a mini meet-up? Sounds like you are screaming ahead of me in all this tinkering around...

Started saving already for a`provari` along with s/s `vamo`. May take a long time, but we all need a `goal` to aim for. (hope I just did`nt put one into my own net). Let me know when the `Midlands Mini Meet` is being held, looking forward to meeting other vapers. jeffc

to be honest i would prefer the adapter being softer and wearing out than the connector on the e-cig

Hi Gordy. You are correct. I shall leave this new s/s adapter fitted onto the LT.to use with my Kanger T3`s Shall be using my Vamo for all other atty`s etc. Love the wattage mode of the Vamo, cuts out the faffing about resetting voltages to suit ohmes on atty`s. Have my Ego - twist as back up, and out and about set up. jeffc.

I've been worried about my eGo threads recently, maybe adapters of the same "persuasion" (ego-ego, 510-510) are actually quite good at protecting expensive batts/mods.

I use a Cisco 510 / ego adapter on VV / VW mods, it's completely sealed, only really use it with T2's & T3's & haven't had any problems with it, don't know what it's made of but it seems pretty durable, had no issues so far & both the T2 & T3 screw on & off very nicely indeed.

I am still waiting for my 510-ego adapter.
50 hours seems a long time to go from "payment accepted" to "processing".....
