Hi all, I have had a Jacvapour V3 battery since end of October, and according to their website this should be replaced approx after 8 weeks. Now, I'm a bit of a techno-phobe so my question is, how can you tell when it needs binned....does it just stop working?? Any words of wisdom appreciated.

Are you sure it says that? Normally they say this is the life expectation but my advice is keep using it until it stops. Tell-tale signs of a battery on its way out are abnormal charge times (either too short or too long - this can indicate however that the connector just may need a clean), poor life i.e. 30 mins vs 2 hours, lack of a hit (could be a sign your cartomiser is dying though).

It'll need recharging more and more frequently and finally when you put an attachment on it and fire, the LED will just flash with no vapour even when you have fully charged it..
That's the end of the useful battery life..I wouldn't go too much by number of months specified by the vendor..It all depends on usage..I have battery which is over 10 months old and still going strong because I used it sparingly..

I think you should email Andy or one of the boys and ask them for clarification. If you were using one battery all the time, maybe. If you are rotating two with a PCC kit, unlikely. - - - generally, if you are not getting very long out of them, then it's time to replace them. are you using JacVapour cartos? If so, you could upgrade to any battery of your choice (lovely bling/girly/fun/ornamental/lazer-etched) ALL you need to do is buy the correct adapter. - - - I use JacVapour cartos on my Lavatube. How silly is that. I don't mind admitting it.

The batteries should be good for at least 300 charge/discharge cycles.
