No it is not a trustfire!!! ALL 3 of the trustfire's I have terminate charging at a safe 4.1 V... as does the Xtar WP2ii I have. The Vamo one I've got was terminating at 4.21V on the multimeter, 4.3V on the Vamo display for the first few days with a green light. Then it started the red/green flashing light thing at 4.2 ??? Yes the point I was making was that the ones shown in the pictures, sold with the vamo kit, are NOT trustfire chargers! They look nothing like the trustfires... They're not any known brand, and I wouldn't use them personally. The trustfire TR-001 has probably sold more units than any lithium charger out there, millions in use and very few problems. The biggest problem with the TR-001 is that, like anything that sells well, it has been copied, so there are fakes out there. You will find a holographic "Genuine Trustfire" sticker on the bottom of genuine TR-001's these days! I have an xtar and 3 trustfires, all work brilliantly, I'd have no problems recommending either of them, I would however also recommend caution as to where people buy them from, the trustfire has been copied, the xtar will follow suit, always buy a proven charger, from a trusted vendor, simple really. P.s I learnt the hard way, I had a cheap, nobrand charger go pop on me, so I opened it up to look inside, and what I found was horrific, through leaded component leads left untrimmed, components touching leads of other components, near solder bridges, etc etc. Never again!

Glad I bought just a Vamo tube, the charger's a Trustfire from my local, well French, shop, the batteries are blue, not white. This really worried me for a second, but I'm OK, unlike, probably, lots of others. Read it on UKV, came on over to check it out. Could've gone straight to the Aussie site but I'll do a bit of surfing now I'm here. Thanks for the info though, helps to know about problems as hot as this
