Looking for ideas... what to mod next!

Hello All,

As most of you already know, I like to push box mods a little bit further than they are at the minute. I'd love to come up with something innovative and am looking for inspiration. I'm looking for something a little different to the standard torch/battery box conversions and that's where you lot come in!

Do you have anything in mind for an unusual mod? What would you like to see as an ecig?

It has to be hand/pocket sized but big enough to take at least a 14500 (AA size) battery or bigger (18650 would be good!). If you have anything laying around at home or have something in mind, please post a pic, link or suggestion (or all three) and we'll see where it takes us!

Thinking outside the box...

How about a Deringer pistol so's we could look as tho we're committing suicide every time we vape? Some might prefer a Magnum thingy

In my young day we had gorgeous lipstick cases ??? you can prolly still buy them on eBay. Just use the caps...

But thinking of the not-cap part of a lipstick "bullet", how about a twist-up mechanism?...

I'll have another think. That one didn't go too well

Have you seen GDs VV box mod with display on it Sean?I missed out on the bugger,was selling for £40.Could you do somat similar Sean?I will have a look araound and see if i can find anything suitable to mod that is different.

Yes Scylla its on UKV,Gary has a selection of mods for sale including two VV box mods that take 2 14500s with a display on the front,similar to the Provari.I missed out

Yep Ian, I've seen it. It's quite a large beast but the main problem is I have no idea what it used to be or what it's called... so have no idea what to search for!

I haven't looked yet Scylla but my first thought was would a lipstick holder be big enough?

As for the Derringer thing... I like that... and could source some very similar parts for it!

The ones he was selling were boxes,different to the one in Scyllas picture.It was in either the shopping or vendors thread.Looked like a black box but with the display on.I would post a link if i was any good with computers

I certainly do like that shape and the design is nice too I can see it would be difficult getting batteries to fit lipstick cases (not the holders like you've linked to, they're for stashing a whole lippie in, case and all). I used to buy these, and others that were more elaborate:

Now that would be a winner and a challenge for you Sean,a solar powered mod like Steve made. I would defo buy one of those plus i want a VV mod as backup incase i should get Provari problems
