i bought one of these a few weeks back and very good it is. but, the little screw with a rubber washer doesnt seem to want too screw down until it gets to the very last turn, meaning its hold to the threads is at best a turn and a bit. either the threads have worn or the screw is worn (i do have a spare set) either way im guessing this will fail shortly so im wondering what can be suggested as an alternative ie a bung of some type which may or may not want chucking and replacing every few days or so. anyone got any ideas or had a similar problem. i will if needed contact the seller but i assume he may well say wear and tear which it cant be as over-tightening would be fairly difficult with sausage fingers and its never been crossed or left loose.

Buy longer screws, shove a bit of blu-tac over the hole, cannibalize match /cocktail sticks?
Sorry, I don't really know Raggy . . . I've a similar filling arrangement on Clockworks clearo Tanks, no issues there . . . but if I did, I'd probably bung a bit of tape over the hole in the event of ' screw failure '.

I wonder if some PTFE tape round the screw would help you, at least till you hear from Kir Fanis

I have the Prive model and I don't use a O ring on the filler bolt. It don't leek and only nipped up finger tight. You can just make out the bolt in the picture and that is fully down.

well i got the spare screw out tonight and this one fits. the thing is this one is longer so it gets to bite the thread easier (assuming the threads start halfway down and are not stripped at the top). great problem solved you would think but the problem now is the spare has nothing to grip when screwing down and has an hex or torque head, i can use it but need to use the a mini screwdriver set i have which is not really the way i guess it was designed. ive dropped vapist an email to see what he thinks as something is not quite right, obviously dont really expect too hear from him over the holiday. has anyone else still got the 2 screws too see if theres are different in length and screwing type ie one has a rough top so you can grip it and tighten the other is smooth with a hex or torque on the head of the screw.

my problem has been resolved by carl from vapist vapourisers, he has sent me a new top cap and this one is just fine. this was dealt with very quickly once the holidays were out of the way, so some kudos for carl in dealing with this efficiently. i was offered a refund but that was not what i wanted as they really are a great tank imo.

Now get yourself some Stainless LR bottom coil kangers, punch a hole either side just above the base of the tank. My favorite Vape. Other Vendors available of course www.vapeescape.co.uk/kanger-510-lr-cartomisers-horizontal-coil-%285%29~225
