Well I have been playing with it all day and I think Im doing something wrong. It doesn't seem to have enough punch to it and everything is actually working better on the riva/tornado batts I have to give the button a really good press to get anything to work at all. Going to have a play and try and google for some help unless anyone here has any ideas?

Oh no.....I hope you find a solution Wotsit. I must admit buying the Riva for a starter e-cig sometimes leaves other e-cigs standing. Might have been better to have started with a "rubbish" e-cig & build up to better

Brilliant news Wot, they're a lovely ecig . . . are you using LR's?
Have you got the activation button fully unscrewed so it's making contact, you do have to press quite firmly on the button I find anyway.
PS. What battery did you get?

Hi Perpy I got two AW 17650 batteries (I think) and some Trustfire 14500s too. I think it might be the charger isnt charging as it should be as both the big batteries only lasted a couple of hours each and the smaller batteries went rubbish after about an hour even though they should be 900mah. Unless they need a bit of breaking in and a few charges to get going?

Sounds like your batteries aren't fully charged Wot . . . a 17670 lasts me a day of pretty much solid vaping.
Edit to say . . . the first charge of 17670 takes around 6 hours . . . I've just taken a new one of the charger that I put on around 4pm.

Yeah I think so. I have just (well about two hours ago) plugged the two AW batts into another charger so maybe that will make it better. How long do the 17670 batts take to charger?

I agree it does sound like the batteries aren't fully charged but also wondering if your button needs adjusting? It's ever so easy to do - you just need something like a pair of needle nose pliers to undue the the nut while holding the top of the button in place.
