Hi all Just taken delivery of my new riva 1100 deluxe kit from vapeescape and I have a problem that hopefully someone can help me with before I ring them tomorrow morning. Basically, I have charged the batteries and when connected to the cartomisers they work fine (after I realised I had to keep the button pressed!!). Batteries also work with cartomisers from nicolites I have been using up to now. However if I use the batteries with the clearomiser I get nothing at all although the clearomiser works fine with the batteries from the nicolites - getting very confused here - hope someone can help although I'm sure vapeescape will help as the feedback I have seen on here is excellent I really don't want to wait until tomorrow.

Someone may beat me to it, but when this happens to me I prise the centre of the battery up slightly. It can get pushed down if you screw something on too tightly

My Vision V3 never works straight off on my Riva. That's NEVER. I kid you not. Turn it off (3 clicks), lift up the centre pin, re-attach.

Thank you both for your prompt replies. About to take your advice albeit with a degree of trepidation but before I do just 2 quick questions 1. If I have managed to over tighten both of these batteries how is it that they both work with the cartomisers and 2. Am I likely to do any damage which might void any warranty I might have bearing in mind the kit only arrived this afternoon?

Hi Rno, No problems with warranty issues at all, we get several calls and emails a day about centre pin problems, the vision egos are notorious for pushing centre pins down if they're over-tightened, the link Chrissie has given you for the video would be the first thing we would ask you to try, it fixes the problem in 99% of cases. If not, feel free to call or email

Wow what a forum and what customer service to get a reply at this time - just watched the video, tried it out and 100% success with both batteries!!! Now sitting here with a huge smile, clouds of vapour and a genuine sense of gratitude to all of you that took the trouble to reply - really impressed

She who must be obeyed has just told me to put my new toy down or I'll be vamped out. Says I remind her of some puffing bug off the Alice in wonderland film, not seen it myself - should I sue?

Have to say that if there's anyone out there just looking and hesitating about posting a question then my advice is just read this thread to see that no question is too daft and the speedy, friendly and helpful replies mean you have nothing to worry about - just go for it. Hmmm now getting comments from swmbo that I'm getting as addicted to these forums as I am to vaping!!
