How does it work?

Sorry to be so thick, but,if I wanted to sell something....how does it work with paypal?
I have a paypal account (card only), but don't know how a prospective buyer would pay.
Do I give this buyer my paypal account number and then he or she pays the money into the account, and then I send the goods?
I feel quite embarrassed that I don't know how to do this.....but I have never done it before.
Advice would be appreciated.

You just need to give the buyer the e-mail address that you use for your PayPal account Buyer pays, you post goods

I didn't realise it was so simple.....like me! Lol!
So...... The buyer has my paypal email... Then what does he/she do?
I still don't understand #icon_hopeless#

Then the buyer signs into their PayPal and sends a payment to your account using your e-mail addy
