I'm new to mixing and so far have made a single flavour juice and Strawberries & cream. I'm dying to try and make a Cherry Bakewell flavour but am stumped what to use for a biscuity/cake base flavour. Any suggestions please?? :-[

TPA Pie Crust is a good one, Graham Cracker if you want a little Cinnamon edge to it, or even F'arts Cookie if you'd like a more biscuity taste.
A dash of marzipan/almond might be nice as well . . .

I've just tried out TPA Black Cherry (I think) and TPA pie crust in my own mix. Quite nice but not quite there ... almond ... got some of that, great suggestion

Graham Cracker is a good digestive biscuit flavour base, ideal with fruits, for fruity tarts, crumbles, etc… Pie Crust is what it says, sort of a well-cooked pastry / pie (if you use too much it will taste burnt pastry).
Both have their place, and combining the two carefully can give a very nice “cooked” tasting base for deserts, cakes, pies, tarts, etc…
I also add a little MTS Vape Wizard for depth / richness sometimes, but don’t use too much, you just need a little to mix with the pastry background flavour, it can easily overpower a mix.
Some flavours will require more pastry base than others, depending on the flavour being added...

err...can't remember the quantities I used - must get into habit of writing them down.
It was a 5ml mix of 18mg ... 50/50 pg/vg. Think I added 5 drops of TPA Pie Crust and 5 drops TPA Black Cherry. As Perps suggested I dropped some almond food flavouring (all I had) into the tank I was using. The flavour waned quickly since it wasn't left to steep but I got enough to give me a hint. Think also with household flavours you need to add more since they are not as concentrated
also the VG was silver spoon and I'm led to believe that has a sweet base flavour

Thanks Ash. Not got the TPA flavours and have killed my vape budget today (only just got back online after a router failure Christmas Eve, went nutso at many many vendors' sites). Hmmmm... Going to try Graham Cracker and CCW Cherry with a bit of CCW Almond. .5ml of GC, 1ml of Cherry and .5ml Almond per 10 ml you think?
ETA how about sweetener? Have stevia, maybe a drop per ml?

can't hurt - not got round to using sweetener yet - am still a mixing novice. Almond is the magic ingredient. Am sure the others can advise better but depends on the strength of your cherry flavour - mine is very strong

Mixing almond and cherry could well be a great base to start from. This is one I'll be trying, having made cherry bakewell ice cream before.

Thank you Ash, I'll add that to our Collection thread, with a note about the sweetner.

cool, you could mention that this would likely be better with proper flavouring rather than the Silver Spoon almond Cheery isn't a spelling mistake by the way ... its a trademark :-) Got some more coming but would rather test em first before unleashing on the unsuspecting public ... and before you ask, Bogey Juice is not one of em
