the reason is, they seem to attract good people. how many times has a stranger just offered you what youve been askin for or offered to help out in anyway they can. like the person on here whod run out of liquid and got offered to be given some for free by another member. dont matter what forum i use, wether it be this one or any of the other motorbike forums or e cig forums i use. people are always willin to help out how ever they can. where are these people in the real world ? cos i never find em.

The generosity of members on this forum is second to none though , I've been on the receiving end of free stuff / help & advice and it only seems right to give something back when the opportunity arises

i think comfrey has a point,other category forums ive been on have had alot of pc hiding abusive idiots they seem to get pleasure from trying to upset people

This forum is fabulous. And yes, i agree with rybes. Where ARE these people in the real world? I have been living in my street for 2yrs and not one person has ever stopped to say hello and i don't even know anyones name. When we first moved in i noticed there was an elderly lady living in a bungalow oppiste. When we had bad snow, even though i walked with a stick back then, i knocked at her door to ask if she was ok and did she want us to get her some shopping as we were on our way to the supermarket. She seemed annoyed that i had knocked and practically slammed the door in my face.
I have given up since!!
I love to help people and i love to belong to a community where everyone mucks in together. Doesn't seem to exist around me. Maybe its me!!? I must look like an axe murderer or suchlike

I happen to live in a nice street and my neighbours either side are lovely, also almost moved into the house on the corner last December , fell through 2 days before we moved however the people we were buying were and are still our good friends , decided not to move in the end, we like it here

Do you know Bullwood Hall prison? OH was working there thats why we moved to Hockley.

Yes I know been past but never in , is he still working there ?, hockleys quite nice though, eastwood is lovely have been here 15 years now

No he is at Chelmsford now which is just as well because daughter rang this morning and said they announced on local news this morning that they are closing it down

I am originally from the other side of London (NW) I like to think theres good no matter where you are. I just haven't found the right people yet
