All those years i moaned about going to work, now, I would give anything to be able to. We always want what we can't have.

All those years i moaned about going to work, now, I would give anything to be able to. We always want what we can't have. (((Dolly))) You're not alone. I worked until I almost dropped, but my failing health and circumstances got the better of me. I would give almost anything as well to be healthy enough to earn and be independent again. I'm not completely giving in to this *bleep*ing illness though, this year I intend to find a P/T job somewhere and at least give it a go, even if it's voluntary work. There's nothing to lose in trying, but possibly, hopefully everything to gain.

You will be pleased to hear that for some of us, WORK is a 4 letter swear word. #icon_thumbsup#
I took early retirement at 50. Now let me see. Yup, that was 16 years ago!!!! #icon_rofl#
I have almost (but not quite) forgotten what it was like.

I recently started a new job. Since I was the last to join I was working Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Hogmanay and New Years Day.
Doesn't bother me much though since I worked in Hotels for 11 years and never had time off over the festive season then either.

I would love to try something small from home but have no ida what. I even thought about selling our vaping stuff, but there's several reasons not to right now. Firstly, i am not experienced in it enough, second, there's so many others doing it and lastly, i don't have enough spare cash to invest in any kind of business right now. Will have to keep thinking. Hope you find something soon
