Sadly true.

and then when someone who smokes but seems a little more clued up than "knows zero" they have been told the wrong information.

I'm not evangelical about PVs but I think folk think I am trying to teach them or prove them wrong all the time. I can appreciate that could be annoying.

Maybe i am just a good sales man i have convert 5 people in 6 weeks to move onto vaping But at work i still go to the smoking area as normal as this is where all my friends are, i vape away and get some curious looks.They ask 'what have you got it looks so stupid', i tell them ive not smoked for bla bla weeks using this, i ask them what flavour they want to try as i carry 3 low res dual carts with me then just hand it to them and say try it.

They take a drag for about 3 seconds do some coughing, take another drag or two then say wow that tastes so good. Where can i get one from?

Most people who take a genuine interest in my vaping, and quite a few members on here, have already tried some other means to either get off of cigarettes or are already looking for an alternative to cigarettes.

Those that have not are not interested and are more than likely the ones that are amused by the idea of something different to traditional smoking methods.

I'm sure that when cigarettes first came on the market, pipe smokers had a field day ribbing this new and initiative way of smoking.

All we can hope for it that 20 years from now, traditional cigarette smokers are as few on the ground as pipe smokers are today and that todays cigarette counters are selling a range of e-cigs and the majority of the shelves have rows and rows of different e-juices.

Our greatest asset over cigarette smokers is Time, followed a close second by our good Health.
Thise two factors together will ensure that someday, the majority of smokers will be vapers.

Around 90% of the smokers in my workplace have gone over to vaping, and I'm glad a lot of them did as they proved to be a valuable source of research before I took the plunge myself.....

I don't think I have ever had "a dirty look" when vaping in public.
Puzzled perhaps, or curious, perhaps a little intrigued, but certainly never hostile.

I don't bother saying anything, most times my provari with vivi nova is compared to a shisha pipe, but i don't honestly care what smokers think anymore... I do what's best for me if they are interested i give them a vendors website and leave em to find out for themselves, and yes ive been asked how dangerous is it, i just laugh and say your smoking a ciggarette how dangerous is that :/

Although I've managed to convert at least 5 people to ecigs, it does amaze me how many people will smoke the cheapest tobacco they can buy rather than even trying an ecig.
I was working with a guy today who was chain smoking this baccy which smelt like burning hair, I was on my ecig and I just asked him if he wanted a go... This is an edited response...
"I'm not putting one of them @#%#ing things in my mouth, all the ~@$& whats in them, god knows what you'll end up getting!"
I tried giving him the breakdown of ingredients and difference between cigs but it was falling on death ears. I just changed the subject and cracked on working.
