Hi all, I'm new to vaping and have a query. I only smoke socially, when i drink, which is about once or twice a month. I'm looking for a ecig that I can carry when I go out, and it needs to last about 8-12 hours (all night boozing).
I've narrowed down my selection to the Riva 1100 or should I get the Apollo or Vape Escape starter kit with the rechargeable PCC units and spare batteries.
Any help and advice would be good, as I can't make a choice. Like I stated, I will only be using this kit a few times a month, and for me, the size is important and i need battery life to last all night.

Hi Molder and #welcome2# Personally I'd go with the Riva kit, one of those batteries should see you through a boozy night, but as the kit comes with a spare you can take that with you for backup

id buy both if you can afford it, ecigs do work but the riva would squash any alcohol induced cravings dead

Hi Molder. I love my Riva, it's still all new for me but wouldn't swap it. Sure you would be happy on your night out with it.

Hi molder. i started off with e- cigs and graduated to riva 1100. In the unlikely event that the current mrs rno would allow me to join you for a lengthy session on the pop i would be far more confident of the riva battery lasting and if you took the spare as suggested above you could probably lose yourself for a weekend!

Thanks for the responses, looks like it will be a Riva 1100 from Vape Escape. It's good to know that the Riva will last a good 8 hours, and then some - handy for those two day booze benders . Now to decide on whether to get a stainless steel or black - decisions, decisions.

One more question - What's the Riva 650 like, it looks a bit smaller and may be better to carry around. Any thoughts pls?

If you carry around 2 batteries in a case, 650 is the nicest size i.m.o. Only 1 650.... I can't remember running out of power in a 1100 Riva on a night out, as long as it was charged fully on leaving the house. Personally, I don't read anything into the "run times" the vendors so helpfully put on their websites. Actually, I'd go so far as to say it's not helpful at all. (I'm not talking about reputable sites b.t.w.) Everyone vapes differently.

Oh...black or stainless? Hard to call.
i.m.o. a Riva with a matching echomiser (or just using the cone) in Stainless Steel is about the smartest thing out there. But I use clearomisers and the black looks cool with silver or smokey tanks.
