slight weezing chest?

Hey guys

Not posted for a few weeks due to nasty bug. I'm using exhales ego kit and after messing around before Xmas still smoking I finally took the plunge new year and haven't had a cig for four days so far! I'm feeling great at the minute apart from a slight issue. Later on a night I find my chest is a bit wheezy. I've had a look about on google and found a few others have had this problem, has anyone here experienced it? I've been vaping a 60/40 mix and have changed to a menthol 70/30 mix today just incase it's the juice. Anyone got any advice on what it could be?

It could very well be the start of all the crap clearing away from your chest
Or that bug you had could have given you a bit of a chest infection

Classic symptoms that we all go through, it's your lungs clearing out the debris having nothing new to replace it, it should clear within a week, but as ever, any persistent symptoms should be discussed with your G.P.

I'm 7 months now into vaping, had no problem for the first 4 months then coughing and slight wheeze at night. Have changed to mainly vg juice and better. Think I may have developed a pg allergy. Try different juices . Good luck

I had lots of wheezy-ness at the start.

Late(r) on in the day, I inhale less deeply as often as possible.

I got it about a month into vaping but it's gone and not come back. I've heard vg could be the culprit but I don't think so, I just think it's your lungs starting the clearing process.

Thank you for your input guys! ive been vaping a 70/30 mix all day instead of 60/40 i know its not much difference but I havent wheezed at all so im wondering like chillervapes says it was the vg? will just keep on with this mix of e liquid and hopefully it wont come back! really dont want to encounter any problems as im loving it so far!

Well i have been vaping for 10 weeks. I still get problems if i vape too much. Ive had the wheeze,sore throat,itchy arms beleive it or not and coughs. I have tried most combinations of vg/pg and after a while i always seem to develop something or another. Personally i think it depends on your fitness and age when you started vaping. If you were on 30+ a day and did not exercise you probably wont get any side effects [apart form an allergy]. If you smoked 10 a day or less and were fairly active you will probably find you develop a slight cough or wheeze although fairly short lived, especially if you vape too much. Lets face it lungs should be filled with oxygen and nothing else. Vaping can still restrict the airways. However if you vape sensibily it is still far better than smoking. Even though i have had problems i will continue vaping as i enjoy it,but my aim is to give up smoking/vaping altogether. By the way these comments are my opinion only . Happy vaping.

Hi there - I have sporadic wheezing, especially late at night, and I put it down to an excess of vaping. What strength juice are you using? that might be worth checking out too.
Things have improved over the last 2 weeks, and I hope it continues to get better, as I really don't want to go back to the fags!

I had a similar problem with PG at first, kept some pure VG available and used it when it started to get bad. The problem went away after a couple of weeks, and as it happens I now use pure PG.

But there are so many bugs around at the moment, chances are you've got one. If you haven't, you'll probably get one when the kids go back to school .
