received yesterday for vamo but doesnt fit

yes mate bought 2 ..1 is now damaged
spoke to jason he told me the 3400 mah are not for the vamo and shouldnt be used in them :-[

I posted this in my vamo first look thread, I found that they were too tight a fit in the vamo tube. Definitely not recommended for the vamo or the z-max come to that

Kev, I advised someone against these batteries a few nights ago, didn't you say that you had been told they were fine?

If yours are fitting inside without stripping the plastic casing then they'll work fine, the problems will only occur if the insulating/casing starts to wear away and expose the metal casing of the battery. Forcing batteries into a mod will cause wear. If they are fitting without any real force then just keep a check on its casing whenever you re-charge it. That's what I do with mine.

that sucks a bit as i pm'd him and asked what's best to get with my vammo and he recommended a xtar charger and any 18650 amr or efest battery!

i sent jason a meassge asking what batteries to get for the vamo he replied to either get aw r ifest
i whent ahead and ordered the 3400 mah ifest thinking they would be fine
unluckily for me and im not having a pop at jason he wasnt aware that i didnt have other mods
i obviously tried the batt as soon as i opened up my shinny new toy only for it to strip the protective film ...cant be replaced as i am deemed to have caused the damage not the vamo`s tight fit
u live you learn,,i will order correct batts and sell this one on at 10 pounds delivered for omeone with others mods to benefit from a great price
i dont however recall posting that these batts or suitable for the vamo tho

We are processing up to 500 orders a day Andy and I haven't got time to cross check every order.

I also don't know whether people own 1 mod or more than 1 mod and haven't got time to email and ask which mod they are buying the battery for.

Sorry that I didn't specifically state not to buy the 3400mah, but I can assure you that if I had have seen your order and known for a fact that you were only buying it for the Vamo - I would have contacted you to change it.

Kev - you found the battery too tight and instead of giving me a call you forced it in and damaged it. Then you asked me to replace it.

Again, and as I have said via PM, if I had known I would have advised you differently r more specifically.

well i am having a pop,if i actually pm him and ask specifically whats best for the vammo im buying from him and he recommends any amr or efest 18650 then tells another customer there not recommended for the vammo after he bought them!

thats why im a little pee`d off and being the idiot that damaged the battery
if you want my advice dont use the batteries pal and contact jason with the view to getting them swapped over to suitable ones

you made your stance clear mate..i didnt force the battery in
i just put it in as i would any other battery i expected to fit
i have no need to contact you,,we live we learn
as far as i concerned the matter is over
i shall sell the reamining good battery on here,,failing that throw it in the bin
and buy some more to replace em >
