I had read that leaving the top of juice and leaving it somewhere "warm" will help with the steeping process
So stupid here put the juice on my mantlepiece. Now I can barely taste the flavour nor does it give me a hit. Is it that I heated it up too much or have I just got a bad batch?
Thanks

Dunno tbh Comfrey . . . never had that problem, other than my taste buds getting too tuned in if I over use a particular flavour.
Standing in a cup of warm water, until it cools I find a good way of speeding up the steeping process . . .
Sorry to not be more help.

Hmm was just about to post in the mixing section, but here seems like a good place.
My Apple pie and custard mixes seem to be getting weaker with steeping, not the taste, I haven't tasted them at all yet, but the smell, it is disappearing quickly with the lid off, is this normal?

I woud suppose its a bit like a scented candle when it unlit it smells lovely but once lit you get so used to the smell you can't smell it any more.
Once you have the top back on and open it again, I bet the smell hits you.

I wanted to experiment a bit with juice this month coming but I had to restock my standard vape in case I don't like anything else. So popped over to vapours world and grabbed some. I'm just so annoyed at myself though because if I'd used even a small amount of common sense I would have realised now I'm £25 out of pocket, so its definitely beans on toast for the rest of the month Sorry for the moan

i steep all of my juices on my mantle piece , i always leave the lids on but a couple of times a day i remove the lids and give them a gentle squeeze to add a bit of fresh air , after just a few hours there is a noticable change in colour and after a few days they smell and taste really good, i have a coal fire so my mantle piece gets very warm

I am sure I have read that heat reduces nicotine content marginally..Higher the heat, the more the nic content will reduce..
So if you had the juice on top of a toasty heater then I think that would explain the loss of flavour and throat hit..

I find the dark cool cupboard for 7 days is best for steeping. If you cant wait that long then Buy some stuff that does not need steeping. I just not long got 100ml of GVC and its locked away in my cool dark cupboard for 7 days. and while i wait for that i am vaping on some stuff i have laying around.
