Hi Folks, I had bought a 1100Mha VV Ego from Paradise Vape on 19th October 2012, but after a week it stopped working. Now to be fair to James/Audrey @ Paradise Vape they replaced it when posting out my next order on 26th October 2012. He had explained to me over the phone that there had been some issues with the 1st lot of these Batteries and possibly I was unfortunate enough to have one of these said Batteries. However after using it again for approx 2 weeks max it stopped working again. Now I don't like to complain too much as I worked in the retail trade for some time in my youth and am now an Accountant/Book-Keeper/Tax Advisor, in my Uncle's Business(Biggest and Best Accountancy Franchise in Britain). Now here comes the Nitty Gritty. Rather than pester James @ Paradise Vape Again, I'm sure someone on this Forum will be able to make t good again, I'm going to try an post Pictures of the Battery and show the wire that is obviously not connected(The solder has come undone and the wee centre pin common to Ego Batteries is the same. I don't want anything for the Battery, only for someone to fix it and give it to someone who would get some use out of it!. When Working(I must add that when it did work the Variable Voltage options on it were quite superb) it has the 3 button press to go from RED, another 3 button presses to PURPLE, and another 3 presses to BLUE. I will post to whoever sends me a PM on here or to my Personal E-Mail which is mcsquenks@live.co.uk, free of charge obviously!!! I just want some one to be able to fix it and either keep it themselves or give to someone they know who may like the chance of a VV Battery.
Much Love Graeme (McSquenks)
Really hope this sends!!

I think you should get back to James. Two weeks use really isn't good enough.

It is a common fault with these batteries the connecting wire is often too short, if the battery is dropped (handled rough such as in the post), the battery shifts and breaks the wire connection.
Have sent you a PM and leave it up to you. However I do agree with Clutter, you should get back to James. Jon

Brambles, I'm just about to PM you!! You were 1st to PM me, and if you can fix it and pass it on to some1 who could get good use out of it, i'll be more than happy. Oh, and i've added a wee surprise in the envelope/package for you - again if you like then fine but if not give to some1 who'll put them to good use!! Cheers Mate, Graeme (McSquenks)

ChillerHippie/ChillerVapes, i'm also sending you a PM. I'm afraid Brambles PM'd me 1st, but in looking at what other paraphernalia I had, I noticed another Ego VV that was broken, but as i havn't accumulated enough Tools etc to repair myself, I'm hoping you can!! Hopefully it can be repaired and you can pass it on to your Wife's Pal!! Oh i've also included a couple of other wee things in the envelope/package, that you, or your Wife, or your Wife's Pal can try and see if they are to your liking?? Cheers Graeme (McSquenks)

Thanks Graeme, like I said in the pm, I'm very grateful for your kind offer, lets just hope we get a new person to switch to vaping I think I'm going to give the repair / mod to the mrs and she can pass her riva forward to her mate to keep it simple. That way, if it breaks, my mrs can just use my lt until I can fix it again. I doubt a new vaper would have the patience if anything went wrong with it. Looking forward to seeing what other goodies you have put with it Thanks again, Nick.

To Brambles & ChillerVapes, Came in to work this morning and had a wee Sneaky shot of the Franking Machine!! So should be with you both tomorrow! And just by coincidence there was a Royal Mail Card posted in to our Office through the Christmas break, that wasn't picked up yesterday........So I Sneakily Sneaked out like a Sneaky thing from Sneaksville with my Sneakily Sneaked Franked Wee Sneaky Packages for you both!! (Only after telling the Boss i was nipping round to the Village(Galston) Co-Op/Post Office for a pint of Milk & to pick up the Parcel that was to be collected). NOW THAT WAS SNEAKY! TeeHee "Good Lad" he said, "It saves me picking up the Parcel at Lunch-time, and we're needing Milk for our Morning Coffee" - "In Fact" he said, "Here's a couple of Quid from the Petty Cash Tin, get a pack of those Cream Scones fae the Co-Op, and we can have them when you get back round. I'll pop the Kettle on the Noo!!" Sweet!! Ratfinkz, VapourtrainJames, & Clutter - I've saw far more generous things being done on here, but Clutter you're right I am a bit of a disgrace to the Mean Scotsman Stereotype!! Much Love Graeme (McSquenks)

Thanks Graeme. package arrived this morning. Loved teh novel way of prtecting teh battery in bits with all teh rubber bands...LOL.. Got enough bands now to keep me goping for years!!
Loved the surprise juices - how very generous. Interesting flavours which I will try later.
Now the Battery. I can see clearly what need repairing, but for the life of me cannot get the plastic insert or the PCB out. Its well and trulley stuck in the cap. But all is not lost, I will make up a little jig to jack it out as it has shifted from its original position when you removed from the tube....I am just fearful I break it at the moment using brute force and pliers. Jon.

Hi again - Unfortunately the PCB has a fault. looks like the output has fried. It appears to work, but nothing on the output transistor which has fried. I am not impressed with the quality of the assembly of these batteries. The wires are very thin and fragile and excess lengths from assembly just get rammed in any space they will fit. No wonder they fail. I shall hang onto the bits and at the weekend might look at replacing the transistor. Not sure what type it is though so will have to check another battery to find out.

Hi Jon, I'm sorry to hear that the build quality is not up to much, and as you say "No wonder they Fail". I'm fairly confident however, that there is some good life to be had out of the actual Battery, that said only you'll know if or how to get the actual usage life out of it. It has honestly only been charged a Maximum of a Dozen times or so. I really hope you can get it to work in some sort of capacity for some1 to get a bit of Vaping use out of it, but would hate the thought of you having to spend any ££ doing so. I know you'll use your judgement & if it's only good enough for the Bin, then so be it!! I'm fairly new to Vaping as you'll see from my Profile, but i am quite handy when it comes to tinkering about with my Sons broken toys etc.. And hopefully after I get the old Cash-Flow sorted again after Christmas(And it was my Son Charlie's Birthday on th 6th January, so pretty skint @ the mo) I'll be able to buy the necessary equipment to get me on the road to Modding, Re-Building, Mixing my own, and the like!! Keep me posted on how you get on please Mate. Graeme (McSquenks)
