Both imeo and scott had recomended vaseline and in the UFS the area where we apply vaseline does not come to contact with the juice...
Unless you try to drown the UFS in vaseline...

I've two pots of the stuff Sham, so think we'll be ok. Imeo recommends putting vaseline on the GG threads Lee, over and above other lubricants, his reasoning is that it's easier to wipe off than others if you've been a bit over zealous with the application, plus it does the job well. I use it on all my mod threads now.

u dont have to apply on other mods perps...
The main reason to apply the vaseline is to prolong the life of the o-rings
If your other mods do not have o-rings you just have to give it a proper clean once in a while...

Not so sure there Sham . . . the SB comes with a small bag of Noalox, but I use vaseline on it and on the GGTB/SD as it does help the smooth running . . . although undoubtly it helps stop o rings from perishing.
