Reading about the spring problems, I have a version 2 vamo with the bigger spring but I'd like to get a new spring just in case and also one for my other vamo which has the smaller spring.
Where can I get a spring that will fit and give no problems as in the heat problems I've been reading about?

Them springs that verey linked to ate perfect for the task. But if your bottom cap isn't heating up you don't need to bother. Saying that, I put one of them springs into any mod that it fits.

I received my Vamo yesterday and found that it was a bit hit and miss, it wouldn't always fire up. I found that the battery sounded very wobbly and that at one point after I'd moved around a bit it switched itself off! I've now swapped the spring over for the one in my non-working LT and it's brilliant, hits every time and no switching itself off. Only problem is I'll have to remember I have a loose spring or I'll be losing it every time I change the battery

Silly thing was that I went to get one a week ago from Blakeys link, put it in the basket then had to fill in all the address details and join the site etc,did all that, went off to do some work and completely forgot to check out, then waited a week for something I never ordered to arrive, when I realised what I had done you couldn't get a hot spring for love or money.
I wasnt replacing a stainless Vamo spring anyway ,just the useless little thing on the chrome one
