provarl cleaning

just watch a video on cleaning the provari.

and i am wondering if this stuff is ok, i was pointed to this a year back from someone here as a suitable cleaner for the lava tube but wanted to make sure it was suitable for the provari.

it doesent seem to contain isopropyl so im not going to use it for now and may need another product.

I don't know if the spray would be good enough, I think they advise swilling out the provari with the liquid.

Bought mine through Amazon, about a tenner, liquid form and it will last for ages. Swish about in the inside and leave to dry, good for cleaning all contacts on anything even the terminals on your charges can have the odd dab.

at this point i only intend cleaning the connections and threads but i just dont want to use something i shouldn't.

I was recommended the alcohol wipes - injection swabs for cleaning, they are quite good and I wrap one around a cocktail stick to get into the nooks and crannies as the cotton buds are a bit too fat to do that. I also wrap one round a cotton wool bud to get the insides clean. Seem to work ok

Presumably when you've swished it about and it dries there's no sign of it on the screen or inside of the 'window'?

the data sheet basically it gives me the following:

butane 5-10%
isobutane 1-5%
propan-2-ol 60-100%
propane 10-30%

is this high enough in IPA, or should i not use it.

yes, very good price, the only worry i have is the strength @ 70%.
i keep reading to use 99% so what concerns me (probably wrongly) is what the other 30% is or does it mean that IPA is all that there soaked in but weaker.
i realise im probably over complicating this but i just dont want to put moisture in there that wont evaporate, if that make sense.

No, you don't use much and don't leave it in there for more than the time it takes to swish, swish, swish, this is what Provari said to do when I had a problem, it is on their site as well. www.provape.com/v/troubleshoot.htm
