Acesulfame - still not proven safe, although approved by USFDA. It's the sweetener that makes you thirsty if you drink diet coke.

just mailed the MEP I have been harassing the last 2 night with some finely honed points

in fairness to her she knows nothing about them but it does make me worry that she is on the board of health discussing this in the EU. If I can educate 1 person, then hopefully she can educate others.

agreed - and the thing people don't understand (or choose to ignore depending on who they are) is the mg per ml usage of ecigs. They hear of 18mg and think that is per ecig. Apples and bananas comparison

Actually, thinking about it, 1 puff on that is almost certainly more nicotine than 10 puffs on an ecig @ 18mg.

1 puff on that is the equivalent (no joke..) of over 50 "cigarettes-worth" on an E-Lite.

Yes, we still have young people, not much older than children, addicted to smoking in this country and they can be prescribed NRT
