Dct washing out advice please

Furball, it is a nack to get DCTs right, but some DC cartos are just sh*t

After a bad run of them, I'd given up for a few weeks, just set another one up yesterday, it's a good one and it knocks the socks of clearos and vivis!

out of interest, which DCT and carto are you using, do you have a link?

Of course it works, I wouldn't post it if I hadn't done it myself. That's what I used to do all the time when changing flavours in cartos or trying to breath new life into them. I haven't used a carto in a good long while now preferring wick set ups instead.
