It's a galaxy Note 2 in case anyone wondered as the GS3 and GN2 look the same, apart from size.

I am debate myself whether to get an S3 or iPhone 5, I am erring towards the S3 I might get the mini though.

Before anyone goes and gets a phone on a contract and run the risk of getting overcharged for roaming etc.
Here is what i did about 15month ago.
Apple finance for i phone 4 = £21.00 a month and i got a giff gaff PAYG sim card costs me £12 a month goody bag and i get 250 minutes, unlimited text and unlimited internet that allows tethering. (and the internet is actually unlimited) not like 3 who say its unlimited but its capped ar so many GB of usage.

So i pay £33.00 a month but if i'm skint i just wait until i have the cash and then top my phone up.
Simples!!!!!

The mini isn't in the same league, in fact it shouldn't have S3 anywhere in it's name, Sammy are just cashing in on the success of the S3 name.

It's a much higher spec and much better screen not just bigger.
The S3 looks pretty big but it's very thin and light.
I generally find it's the thickness in the pocket that causes pocket problems

I just got rid of my GS2 which is loads bigger (but thinner and lighter) than my old Desire I am using temporarily until the Note arrives and the Desire is much more baulky in the pocket even though it's smaller.

The S3 is all screen so not as big as it looks in pictures.

Just ordered my new phone holder for the car, £28 just for the holder because luckily I can use my original mount.
Would be another £15 otherwise, but they are such good quality they'd probably hold the phone if the car was upside down!
Not that I'm planing on testing that

Wondering if I should get a 32GB class 10 to replace my 16 class4 card I've got for £20 while I'm at it...

Yes, i am the same using Giffgaff. They are great. But I don't even get phones on finance. I save up and just buy it outright. That's why i still on version 3!! lol
I was saving for iphone 5 but had to use the money for new car deposit so it looks like i am stuck with my trusty old iphone for a while longer. Doesn't bother me. Not the type who has to have the newest thing out. As long as it works that's all that matters to me.

Tis meant to be the year of the Phablet but I am not sure I have the pocket for one. Not cash wise as I can get via a company account but more size wise. I may have to but new shirts with larger pockets.
