Forgive me for being stupid what does ohms stand for?!

ohms is the resistance of the cartomiser or atomiser. the lower the resistance the bigger the throat hit and vapor, but will run your battery down quicker than a higher resistance carto etc!

you'd probably be best to get yourself a larger battery, this looks like a good deal to me

So the answer is a higher battery? The reason I got a titan is because it looks more like a real cig get embarrassed by it lol. Are there any ecigarette that look like the real thing with a good battery?xx

Lozzy, keep with the cig-alike for out and about, but get a bigger battery so as you can experiment with different cartos etc at home

Since I first discovered vaping, this word ( THROAT HIT ) is bounded about quite regular, and to be quite honest I find it a pointless need , as far as smokers go I have never in all the yrs of smoking heard anyone say, yeah I smoke these because of the THROAT HIT , so as a newbie'ish to vaping I still have no need to find the so called THROAT HIT thing, as long as I get the nic from a juice that my body craves for then that's all that is needed with the added bonus of a flavor, maybe its just me I don't know also I don't get the need for big clouds of vapor, you don;t get it from cigarettes so why the need from vapor strange if you ask me.

Throat hit can be important in the early stages of switching to vaping! It has become less important to me now

Alcohol adds throat hit - you could try adding a little vodka when you top up the tank. Tends to dilute the flavour, but if it works for you we can solve that.

Different strokes for different folks mybad. I need the throat hit, not bothered about vapour, so vape pure PG.

I honestly don't get the connection , I have tried one juice that I got a while ago and it nearly knocked my head off, only because of the flavor of it thou, nothing to do with being a high nic content as such or even at what volts I vaped it at to some degree. even when I started vaping I wasn't looking for a throat hit thing at all.

Thanks guys yeah the vapour doesn't bother me that much it's the throat it and yeah it's prob because I've just given up. Karma what do you mean about carto/atomiser do you mean I need to get a new one as well as a bigger battery? Which ecig do you smoke apart from the one you take out lol x

Hi Lozzy , and welcome to the forum

Lozzy if your new to vaping you prob got a starter type device 3.0 3.3 v ? if this is the case you may well not be getting the most out of your e juice to match the satisfaction of your smoking habit, I found that getting a vv device that will go up to 6.0 v greatly improved the quality of the vaping experience to match smoking itself.
