???hi all as you can tell im not verry clued up on vaping started a bout a week ago on e-lights not touched a fag since i realy want to give this a good go orderd some juice and it arived today filled my empty cart up and its not very good all i want is to have a good vape that tastes like a rollup (amber leaf / drum ) also can any one help thinking about getting a kit but dont know what to get i work long hours manual labour so need something that fits in pocket gives a good vape and long battery life any help would be great thanks

If it was a cartomiser you filled, did you make sure you avoided the centre hole?

Probably the biggest problem with vaping is finding a juice that suits you!

For a starter kit you'll not go far wrong with this

There really are so many far better e-cigs than the e-lites, so please don't judge them all with the one you have bought. The Riva kit Karma linked to is a really good kit from an excellent seller. But also have a look for a Riva or Ego kit from some of the other really good vendors -

I'm not going to bother to give you the full run-down on E-Lites but if you are expecting to refill them you are in trouble. You can fill them a couple of times then they go all mushy. Which means you need to buy more e-tips. Then more batteries, then another charger. It's a slippery slope.....

E-Lites e-tips are possibly the most expensive on the market. I used £30s-worth before buying a different kit, from JacVapour. E-Lites = £3.99 per carto, JacVapour = £1.35.

One carto a day on E-Lites = £1,456 a year.
One carto a day on JacVapour = £492 a year.

The fact that you have not smoked since is nothing short of a miracle. If I were you, I'd just straight quit (fags and vaping) right now, or in the next few days.

Please don't waste any more money on them. Quit or get a different kit.

First, welcome to the forum! glad to see you found it

Now to your gear. What you have started on is like the gateway to ecigs so nothing wrong there.

But if you want something that is RELIABLE you need to look at something that is not one of the "ciggie" clones you buy over the counter. I wasted in excess of £200 on variouse kits from the likes of TW (totally wicked) plus some others with the "fag box" PCC.

As you could guess its all sitting in a box not doing anything and to be honest It will never see the light of day again for a while.

Get yourself something like a ego tank system. You fill your tank (no nasty wicks to mess with!) pop it in place and vape away. If you can get over the fact it does not look like a fag then your already half way through the initial battle. The way to look at it is, your not there to care what others think.... so what if it looks like a nuke missle, the fact is, it is giving you RELIABLE nicotine intake whilst giving you a half decent device to get on your journy to 0mg nic and ultimate a smoke free life.

There are so many amazing people on here who can give you such a good insight into the vaping world. Just look through the forum and you will see.

Save yourself the money on stinkie look a likes and get yourself a bottle of Tobbaco flavour to start with and a good starter kit like an ego tank like this one,

i work long hours and found a 1100mah battery with a clearomiser lasts my day with always a fully charged back up in my van and spare full clearomiser,i carry it round in my trouser pocket on site and vape whenever i feel a need too

HI Dan, and welcome to the forum. I can't better he advice given above - I started on eGo batteries and clearomisers, and although I have progressed a bit since then, I still use clearos when I want to be discreet and have something on me that people might not even notice me using (unlike my Vamo!).
