Smell

My wife does not like the smell of vaping, the only one she cannot seem to detect is menthol, any other juices that do not give out much smell but still give satisfaction?

Ask her if she would rather smell ciggie smoke in the air,on you and on the furniture

Mine's the same, although she's not bothered enough to risk me going back to the fags. But I don't care about vapour, so for her sake I vape pure PG (mix my own) which reduces the smell.

Does she object to all smells - for instance would she be OK with coffee or chocolate or some fruit? Are you OK with any of these?

Some peoples' OH just get a bit strange about vaping. Not surprising really if you think about it - they had some sort of relationship to the addiction too, or at least a way of coming to terms with it. May just be a matter of patience.

I think you should say. "Love I understand, but look at the money WE are saving, look at the chances of helath risks being reduced massivly, look at this loverly bunch of flowers I brought you with the money saved from smoking".

Sure she will get use to it!. My missis complains about getting head aches, even though I vape in a different part of the house or genrally out in my garage when Im tinkering with the bikes. Since the last time I checked vapour does NOT linger on you like smoking did.

If I were you I would tell her to stand outside in the cold when you have a vape inside, see how long it will be then before she starts to like the smell.

You could always vape unflavoured juice. You'd get the nicotine and throat hit and vapour, but no 'flavour' to the 'smoke'

I find that mint flavours have plenty of throat hit and barely any smell.

To clarify that's mint not menthol.

Yes, I live in a shared flat and instead of stale smoke my housemates and visitors can now play guess the flavour from whatever I am using when they are present.
My own room smells slightly of vanilla and caramel since I use loads of RY4 type liquid. People also seem to get watermelon smell pretty fast when I use it.

I have to say though honey is a weird one as it tastes nice to vape and smells nice enough. . . until about an hour later when it morphs into a weirdly sweet, stale, slightly off smell.

I keep most of my vaping stuff in a Carp Fishing Case.

Recently there was a helluva smell coming from it and it turned out to be a leaking bottle of one of my tobacco flavours.
Once I found it, cleaned up the mess and stowed it all away agin, everything was fine, but I was surprised at just how much wiff came from such a tiny amount of flavouring.

So I am not surprised that some people may be a bit sensitive to some flavours of e-juice.
