Hi all....Disaster struck on my twist it was left stupidly by myself on the settee and the bairn has sat on it and the button has been pressed in so much that i can't press it at all....Can anybody help me out as to can i fix it at all please ?

I fixed mine by attaching an old clearo to the end and using that to help pull the switch section out of its housing. It requires a bit of force but if you hold onto the clearo and move it from side to side whilst pulling, it will come out and you should be able to reseat the button.
When I put mine back together, I made sure the button was in the hole and facing downwards before sliding the electronics back in.

I've had this happen to ordinary Egos once or twice, has the edge of the button worked itself under the edge of the hole? If so you should be able to just wiggle it free. You might need to use a small screwdriver or similar to get it out. And as these have an automatic 5 second shit off, you shouldn't have had any overheating problems.
If the button has any play in it all, it might just be that it's turned itself off, so 5 fast clicks should turn it back on. I've had a battery turn itself off in my pocket, thought it was dead til I tried the 5 clicks!

Wow thanks for the replies guys and guess what I've fixed it.....stuck a clearo on pulled and wiggled it till it came apart let the button drop out got some tweezers put it back in place carefully making sure button was facing down whilst i pushed it all back in place.....Easypeasy but without your help i though battery was a gonner......pretty pleased with myself as usually im rubbish at fiddly stuff lol.....thanks for the help once again......
