Thank you for emailing Andrew about this matter.

He is of the view that the Commission proposal is unbalanced, and is particularly unsatisfied with it on the point of the nicotine concentration that would be permitted under the proposals.

You can rest assured that Andrew will liaise with the Liberals' spokesperson on the report, Mr Frederique Ries MEP, in order to intervene on this point.

Good stuff, but Lib Dem, not Labour. Has anyone had anything other a standard letter from a Labour MEP?

Oops so it is! Dunno where I got the idea it was labour had that in my head since I first read it!0have mailed back saying if he needs any further info / links etc to contact me again. This is only my second reply out of 7 mails I sent. Are others finding it takes forever to get replies?

I only sent 5 - didn't bother with UKIP, reckon they'll oppose anything out of the EU anyway. So far have one standard response (negative, Lib Dem), one "thanks, we're busy but will reply in due course" (green) one meeting arranged (Tory MP, but she knows my dad well, so expected); labour and tory mep & other libdem no response. I also asked to meet the tory MEP, another contact of my dad's (no, I'm not a tory, but everyone else round here is) and they may be taking time to see when he can meet me.

Sounds like you're doing well Giles! I messaged all my MEP's haven't contacted my mp yet as was waiting til I was well enough to be able to meet them. Doesn't look like thats going to be for a while though so I may contact them anyhow and grin and bear it!

There request sent to MP. No doubt I shall be asking for advice etc before the meeting although I have been following all the vttv shows no this subject and will watch all the recent vttalks before talking to anyone!
