It is more down to users not being safe by stacking batteries. Or using cheap nasty batteries. If you stack them and it blows up then the only one to blame is yourself. If your safe about it you will more than likely be fine.

If memory serves me right the guy who had one blow up in his face was stacking his batteries , which isn't recommended unless they are safe chemistry or protected . I'll stand corrected if I'm wrong You will be perfectly ok with your set up as long as you remember to respect your battery just like you would your matches or lighter .

Hey NewVaper, what set up are you using?
E-cigs, on the whole, are very safe! Millions of them out there, but the odd mishap you will hear about!
Use the proper charger for your battery. If you have a mod, buy good quality batteries and use one at a time, don't stack them and use a decent charger.

Mmm, I've noticed that occasionally my MVP keeps firing I never leave it with a carto or clearo on, always remove them before I put it down Quite sad about this glitch as I really do like it

What does stacking batteries mean?! Any mod is basically a battery holder, safe enough with decent batteries used singularly. Problems can happen with sub quality bats and using them one on top of the other, like you perhaps used to years ago in a torch? Don't worry about it Lozzy, enjoy your ego/riva no such problems should occur with it

I have absolutely no worries about it blowing up in my face The glitch I refer to is annoying and doesn't make it very convenient as an out and about vape, although the size of it isn't very discrete anyway I believe I have one of the first versions and there is a newer version now ??? do you click 5 times to switch off when you leave the clearo on? I've never bothered trying that as it's just as easy to take it off!

I do try to but forget alot so it's left on most of the time. Lol I use mine out and about. It's not discreet. But I dont mind when people ask about it. Hopefully I can encourage more people to give up and become vapers.

I seem to remember that guy in the states was stacking unprotected batteries in a home made mod.

There is a you-tube video somewhere showing tests to deliberately blow up a battery by abusing it in various ways and it just won't explode whatever they do to it
