Good evening! I hope you're all well. I have been because of our new house. Oh Beeps, what don't you like?

Sorry,I forgot my manners- it's a lovely new big place Chrissie, thank you so much! (I have been , cat-like, in the garden but it's rather chilly) It's very smart here!

Farzooks, I've used almost the same colours on the default theme as I used on the old version default theme, so I'm puzzled ??? I'm also unsure what you mean by no proper editing box ??? As I've just done here - click on 'quote' in a post and no editing box appears, just a plain green continuation of the post I'm replying to, with no delineation of the area where the reply should go. As it turns out, the entire post is now editable, but there's nothing to show that.

Simon, at the moment, some links open in a new window, others still don't & I'm still trying to work out why.
Farzooks, I'm off to change my theme to the greeny/blue one you are using so I can see what you are talking about BRB.

OK Farzooks, I've tweaked some of the colours & borders. Have you got your profile setting as visual or BBCode? If BBCode, change it to visual.

Aha; that's much clearer - in Visual it's now obvious where to type and in BBCode it's simple and plain anyway, with conventional text flags. Thanks, Chrissie.

Hi, to remove some that you arent interested in any more. Sometimes you may go and post one message to help someone maybe and dont expect to need to go back. Thinking about it, it is maybe better just to use "BOOKMARKS" and edit your threads of interest that way

I'll look into it Robby But I doubt there will be a way of coding in what you want to do.

In the meantime I will use the bookmark feature, then I can just unbookmark something if I dont want to get notifications of new posts in a thread I dont want to go back to particularly. My PARTICIPATED in list is pretty long now
