Hi, I was told (can't remember who) that it was an RN 4081. How far do you have to drive? I refill my cartomisers and 2 will last me a full day of chain vaping. Phil

You won't find any - I started out with one of those and you can't get them. Cut your losses and look at it as the cost of education. For a tenner (using ECR69) this will be a good replacement, and cartos are cheap. www.ecigwizard.com/en/standard-510-starter-kit.html

If I can't get better cartos I'll just keep using the ones I have until they die (got 9 or 10 still, so will last a while at least). My two skycig batteries are still going well too, with 510 threads on them, so again ok 'till they die totally To add to my trials and tribulations, yesterday someone gave me a pair of only-used-once e-lites auto batteries and usb charger, they don't have either 510 threads OR (despite looking VERY similar) ones the same as the Halos ??? Any ideas anyone ?? ...or shall I start a new thread about those too ??

With autos the first bit of the drag activates the battery, so you have to suck longer and harder. With manuals it's all vapy when you suck. The trouble with all of the proprietary batteries is they want to tie you into their own, expensive, cartos.

Basically 99% of stuff out there is 510 - gives you all the options.

ever thought of buying a decent batt like an ego then your pretty much covered with everything Dammit, why didn't I think of that ??? I have 5 eGo batteries already The point being, I tend to use the Halo and skycig(with 510 cartos) whilst driving (for ease). The skycig batteries are a bit puny, but one fully charged will get me to work and back. The Halo ones are much better, but the cartos aren't great, hence wanting to ID the thread so I can sort out better cartos to use with the Halo batts..... ^^^ Thing is, I have (lots of) manual 510 batteries which I use all the rest of the time, I just like auto ones with a carto for when I'm driving my regular commute and round town type driving.... hence trying to ID the Halo and (now) e-lites threads..

you can get automatic 510 batts - probably your best bet, although if you use manual your the first person ive met who prefers the auto once they are used to it.
Sadly, as you can probably tell from the majority response, your best bet is to bin the halo and start again.
I started with 10motives & Halo & skycig - none of these comes anywhere near the pleasure of vape I now get from my egos with kanger t3s.
Hope you find a solution.
Tom

Gunjack, the e-lites aren't compatible with any other makes at all.

Thanks everyone for trying to help. I appreciate it's a very specific problem that may not have an ideal solution....looks like it's back to plan A - use the Halo (&e-lites) until the cartos die then re-assess for a couple of 510 auto batteries

I had the same thoughts as you and continued to use the Halo and then a mini SD thing in the car as auto was easier but the sucky switches suck and fail/clog up sooner or later. I started using Egos and now use a mini LT in the car.
