Hi, I am still on the chemo. The first few sessions seem to have done something so they have decided to give me some more. As it happens I had to go for a blood test today for chemo treatment tomorrow. I just hope it doesn't affect me like the last time when I ended up in hospital. Phil

Hi, Thank god not every NHS trust is the same. Here in Swansea they seem very pro ecig. My own doctor has me down as a non smoker for the last 16 months. I saw an on call doctor about a month ago and the only reason she could come up with for me stopping vaping was the money but when I explained that I had already saved over£2000 she was stumped. I have been in hospital twice recently and on both occasions no one had any objections to me vaping. I even vaped while they did a small operation to reinflate one of my lungs. I have also been attending as a day patient for chemotherapy and they are quite happy to let me vape while having treatment. Drip going into one hand and my ecig in the other. Phil

Hi, Would I consider it now? NO WAY. Would I have considered it 15 months ago? Yes, Yes, yes. My first ecig was a disposable from Tesco that cost me £6 and lasted less than a day. My second was a decent starter cigalike kit that came with a free mini kit so I had 3 batteries and 12 cartomisers. I was told that the carts were NOT refillable and if that had been the case I would have spent as much on vaping as smoking but a bit of research online showed me how to do it properly. This cigalike kit saw me through the first 5 months before I felt the need for something better and moved "on" to a 510/ego kit. There is a place for cigalikes but there is also a need for vendors to be able to advertise the fact that there is a better way of vaping. Phil

Hi, I've been using an iClear30 for a couple of weeks and find that the drip tip fills up every 1/2 hour or so with a clear, foul tasting liquid. Is this condensation and part of the process or have I got a leak somewhere? I do chain vape with the 30 and use it with a pass through so there is nothing to interrupt my vaping. Is this part of my problem? Don't get me wrong, I like the taste, throat hit and the amount of vapour with this tank but I don't think the excess liquid is something that should be happening. Phil
Edit I am using about twice the amount of juice with the 30 as I did with any other clearomiser. It's costing me £1 a day now.

Hi Raid, Thanks for the fantastic offer but I am not in desperate need of this battery (5 others and a pass through). I'll drop it in my spares box and when I can put a decent bundle together I'll send them all off to you to help anyone who needs it. Phil

May not be relevant to your issue, but I did notice once that if some liquid has gone into the reservoir of the battery connection and then plugged into the usb, it can knacker the usb charger. Same thing happened to me, when plugging a battery into charger the light was going green, but the battery wasn't charging at all. When I changed the usb wire, the battery started to charge again. May or may not be the case for you, but always useful to know! The Doc. Hi, Again not the problem as the usb charger charges all my other batteries with no problems. It's got to be a duff battery but I'd like to know what the problem is so that I can avoid or fix it in future. Phil

Probably the soldering on the wire going to the center pin has let go..If it is fairly new, contact the vendor. If out of warranty, carefully prise out the center pin and if there is no wire attached to the end of it then that is what it is..Can be soldered back if you pull the connector off carefully. Common failure mode in ego type batteries.. Hi, Nope, it's not that. That was one of the first things I checked by pulling the pin right out and resetting the grommet and pushing the pin back in. Hi, Standard ego/510 1000mah battery. Shows full charge with constant green light on usb charger but if I connect a clearomiser I may or may not get one toot out of it. The blue button lights up as normal but there is no power going to the clearo. I know it's not the clearo as I have tried loads of different ones and they all work great on different batteries. The battery switches on and off OK with 5 clicks as normal but doesn't send any power to the clearo. I have raised the centre pin so it's not that. Any ideas? Phil

Hi, If you can be sure that the nic content is too high then a phone call to Trading Standards would be in order. After all they are the ones who are regulating ecigs for now and this could be a safety issue. Phil

Hi, I buy 18 mg menthol and dilute it 50/50 with PG to give me 9 mg. I bring the flavour back by adding some peppermint food flavouring. Phil

Plugged directly into the mains. Phil Yes, but what is plugged in to the mains? If it's a power supply that can only supply 500mA then that's not enough power. Ideally you need something that can supply 2A. Hi It,s the passthrough that is plugged into the mains. It does say on the pack that it needs a 2A mains/usb adapter and that is what I'm using. Phil

it may be that whatever you're running it off can't supply enough current, what are you running it off? Plugged directly into the mains. Phil
