Almost 3 years on . . . still waiting for it to stop, though I don't look at Mods now, I've more than enough VV/VW devices for one gob. Mixing Supplies, trying desperately to rein myself in. But . . . I can get easily seduced by FG/Silica Rebuildables.

Nope. and in the same boat as yourself. Just finished ordering my payday / Feb month supplies and the additional things I end up with is crazy.... 2 vivNovas , 2 bridgless attys for sampling, more wick and wire for rebuilding, another battery .... some ejuice ..... another ego adapter incase I loose one of my other 2 oh and some more ejuice...... So when I look at my signiture I do not see the money saved bit....because lets face it, nothing has been saved BUT I love this new hobby and watching the stinkies avoided go up is enough to justify it. Like Perpetua, I have all my mods now, no need for anything else (famouse last words) but in a nut shell, No it does not stop

Vaping instead of smoking can and will save you money. Vaping as a hobby though, that's a totally different matter Most of us are hooked on the idea of a perfect vape. Not sure what that actually means, but I want it. If I was just looking for a cheaper, safer way to smoke. I would stick with a couple of basic 510 batteries, a PCC case and some refillable cartomizers. Simple, easy to use and fairly cheap to run.

Completely agree Steve . . . my vaping friend is perfectly content with a couple of Ego batteries and Mega Atomisers with Carts, despite my best efforts and stuff bought for them, they're not remotely interested in branching out. What they have works for them and they see no need to try anything else, wish I could be more like that.

Very VERY wise words Steve and 100% spot on. I think it is the old story of the grass is greener on the other side (IE: The next thing might just be that little bit better ) Best hobby yet tho and cant complain one bit as every purchase I have made so far has been great

I have three ego batteries. Once I get my CV1 I'll have a vv battery. I have a rebuldable tank. DC tanks and Nova's.
What more could I need??? Nothing.
Pity for me the brain seems to ignore logic when it sees some shiny new vaping gear.
Now. Must order some Swedish fish, oh and a dripping atty LOL

Some hold up to expectations while a lot are just very expensive disappointments. But they are nearly all shiney so it's not all bad

I am in agreement with Boo as long as I'm happy with what I have and it works for me thats all that interests me. I have this morning ordered a new Riva 1100 kit from Jason, along with a couple of clearo's and I'm totally happy in vapeland I just need to get my mixing up to par and that will be the icing on the cake. I'm just about to order a couple of juices to keep me going while my attempts steep and thats me done. Bliss

Seems we're all the same vaping is addictive, but I don't believe it's the nicotene anymore, it's such an enjoyable hobby and all the fun of experimentation that goes with it!
Most start with a cig-alike or a small battery and then progress from there, even though I said I'd get an initial kit spend £50 or so and hoped that would be it forever who was I kidding!
My daughter asked me the other day "Mummy how much have you spent on vaping in the last year"??? hmmm difficult to answer - so I said do you mean batteries, juice, flavourings, cartos clearos atties chargers drip tips syringes pipettes extensions adapters cases lanyards DIY kits PG VG Nic or what lolol and she said everything all together . . . . oh dear how can one answer that?? ? I don't even want to think about it! So I said "oh about £100 sweatheart" I knew that would be reported to Daddy pretty swift lol
But how much HAVE I spent erm... um ... think I have amnesia! But don't care really, I LOVE VAPING, and so glad it was even invented. Smoking is awful, didn't really even like the taste. I used to stress smoke, opportunist smoke and secretly smoke with so much aggro from around me, you wouldn't believe!
Now I vape everywhere, computer, loo, bed, car, supermarket, pub indoors outdoors, you name it - no moans, well a bit about certain aromas from hubby but nothing compared to the grief I used to get from him
Vaping IS experimentation first and foremost, not just something you do on a fag break because everyone else does. With the wealth of flavours out there, it's endless pleasure and anticipation. My postman thinks I'm in love with him lol
Oh and; vaping, as I said where would we be without it? I even eat so much less than I used to. Sometimes forget to eat at all which is amazing for me, I used to get up in the morning and think "now what shall I eat" ? Smoking never curbed my appetite, but now would rather have a nice cappuccino to drink with an RY4 for accompaniment any day!
As for the dosh I don't care, yes I've spent far FAR more on vaping gear than I ever did on smoking, but it's my no 1 hobby and wouldn't be without it!
Trouble is I love vaping in private so much late at night, I'm forgetting to sleep now, so maybe that is the nic keeping me awake lol.. Happy days
Jules (Vapinglike crazy) hehehe so true!

I bet if I sat down and worked out the true figures it could have been over £500 in the last month alone....[EDIT TO ADD: I basically used some spare money to get the bits I always wanted before and knew if I didnt get it now I would never....maybe that is my method in my madness ] ok maybe slightly more! plus I had all my kit from before and the endless starter kits I tried on my first attempt.. BUT I do make sure that I do not use my wage or anything that affects my family to spend on it. If I want a new shiny thing I go out and make a way of getting it. Best way of doing things

My hobbies are the usual, books, music meals out with friends etc. But I was always big into computers, so I once spent £130 on four fans, they're still going strong and practically silent years later so money well spent to me, but now it seems vaping is my main hobby and it's a hell of a lot cheaper than tech stuff.
I'm pretty set in what flavours I like now, swedish fish from vape space, egg custard from alchemist and spearmint from vapology. So I buy them in 50ml lots and by samples of others, there's still so many I want to try though, some from t-juice. more from alhemist, grizwald etc. lol, there's just so many out there.
Then there's mods, but its not just mods, you need batteries for them and a charger for the batteries lol.
But, everyone needs a hobby and bills are paid so I'm not doing any harm...yet lol

At first I thought I could resist, I thought I'd just get what I needed and that was it. Unfortunately I seem to "need" everything
