Hi All, I've just received a years worth of wire 0.16mm, wool, wick and blue foam, I've set up a new wick/coil as usual and I cant seem to get less than 2.8ohms. Any tips, it's not driving me mad as I can pop it on a LT and play with the Volts but my ideal set up is on my Don and at 2.8 it isn't hitting the 'Spot' I've got a 8 hour train trip tomorrow and I hope to set a couple up (just in case!) Thanks

Use less wire is the answer, try 4cm of .16 and if that's not enough then reduce it further

I use 0.2 which is lower resistance, not much help I know for you.

I use 0.16 in my Spheroid as well Worthing, about 3 turns gets me around the 2.00ohm mark.

I also find 0.2 NC is best when I'm using 2 x 3mm wick as I do in the Spheroid - 5½ turns gives me 1.8ohms which works well for me. With 2 x 2mm wick you get about the same with 0.16 NC wire and I find that can work well in some things like the RDA. I think it depends to an extent on the type of juice you use and your vaping style, so it is well worth getting a selection of wires and wicks to play with

You could always use a twisted coil, that would give you a nice low ohmage using the same amount of turns
