Vamo V2 - Batteries & Tips

Hi,

I've just ordered my first mod, the vamo v2, from vapourbreak so will be 10-15 days before arrival.

I have only used egos and similar before so was wondering what the best bits to get are regarding batts and chargers etc.

Any tips and advice would be much appreciated.

I am using Panasonic 3400mah unprotected batteries as the Vamo has protection as foes my Nitecore charger.

These are £17-10 shipped for two. You can get cheaper, lower capacity batteries, no problem. These give me over two days vaping from each battery.

Get a quality battery charger. The Nitecores are pretty good. You need to shop around though, other people should show you other options.

They wont last too long, I have a couple, one of my vamos was a kit with 2 18350s, they are handy if you are off out for a pint, but I reckon 4 or 5 hours is all you will get out of them (each)

Don't get efest 18650 3400's as they dont fit the vamo.

Dont go near Ultrafire batteries, or any other battery with "FIRE" in them. There are a lot of very convincing copies out there and some of them are really dangerous. Charger looks okay though.

I have no problem buying from ve as jason is brilliant and I have used that site quite a lot.

The batteries thing did scare me off a bit with the warnings you see of not charging without supervision.

tom look up at what i posted thats the best option , and its a safe charger aswell as you don't want a bomb in your house.

Not only are they often dangerous, they have wildly overoptimistic capacity claims.

Would you know if I would need spacers with this charger for the 350s?
