Just built my first.

I had an AGA-S, 35x30mm mesh(400 grade) & 0.2 kanthal wire.

It was going relatively smoothly (or so I thought).

A little fiddly getting the wire tightly under the positive terminal in the middle.

Tested the ohms - 1.8 - fine.

But when I fired the batt only the top coil and between the top and the centre post lit up.

A couple of emails later to Todd with quick responses (thank you ever so much) and I re-oxideised the mesh and re-did the coil. Lit up evenly on all coils.

Now having the BEST vape I have yet to experience and I'm told ss wick gets better!

Only problem is I want to take it apart and do it again from scratch (for the fun) but the vape is just so nice.

Might vape on this and have a go at making a ss wick kanger.

I ordered the Vamo because it was a bargain from the states (£22.98 Stainless Steel), however, i have now spent £40 on batts, charger etc...

Tom do it, make another one you can keep the other wick and pop it back in if it all goes wrong. I only cracked it myself on the Aga T+ last week but it sure is worth it for the taste and the vapour! In fact buy and Aga T+ as well. You know you want to. Todds vids are great, I've found them very useful.

great price though - especially build vs price compared to the higher end ones.

It comes as standard with a pollycarb tank the Pyrex is sold separately by some but included free along with the polycarb by others. From what I can gather they are all a little rough round the edges, mine was but doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I've re-done it, drill bit method, coil around the mesh before inserting, straw and solid coil. I've settled on the straw drill bit method for the best results. I need more rebuildables, the fun of making it is just as good as the vape!!
