So my collection of Mods is growing and my only remaining dependancy is all on keeping my batteries charged..
Now I am still using my Trust Fire 001 charger that came with my LavaTube about a year or so ago. It does the trick, but I do feel it is not a quality charger and may be only charging batteries part way?. This is now used to keep many batts charged for both my Provari and Vamo so it is being used ALLOT all of a sudden.
Will I gain anything in a better one and if so can you guys recommend anything?.
Cheers

Xtar are good, I use WP2, also Nitecore i4 are highly recommended.
The issue with Trustfire is how reliable they are and how accurately they charge. Lithiums need a good charger to ensure long life and safety.

I use an x-tar 2 as well, only problem I have is not buying the bigger one, when my two 3400 mah ones die they hog the charger for 5 hours or more, having the usb out is nice too for my camping weekends as I can charge a phone or ego from that.

Cheers guys, I have been looking at the X-Tar chargers and heard some good things about them. Looks like I may have to order one sometime soon.

Nitecore for me but I suppose if the seller was selling a xstar6 for the same price, I would of got that. Most people now will have a xtar or a nitecore.

Fair comment. I'd trust Torchy to supply genuine ones though.

Nitecore i2 also deserves a mention..I use mine quite a bit and it reportedly has a better charging algorithm than the i4. If I was given a choice between the Xtar WP2 and the Nitecore i2, the latter is the one I would choose simply because it can also charge Nicd/Nimh cells..Both both very good chargers for the money in their own right.

I ended up buying an Xtar WP6 II because the testing of Trustfires revealed they don't cut off the charge properly and can cook the batteries. Not something you want with a lithium cell. As far as I know these were genuine Trustfire chargers - the clones are not to be trusted in any way, shape or form if you value your house.
