I was sitting watching some antiques shows the other day and it got me thinking.Do you think say in 10 years time you will get ecig stuff on antiques roadshow or something like that?
As they had some like old lighters and ashtrays on there the other day and was sitting here thinking bout ecigs and their status in 10years time.
Will they becomes collectibles like other smoking memorabilia?
Just a thought might be a stupid one but you never know.

Not stupid thought at all Roachie - often thought the same thing Might take more than 10 years though before my dearly beloved first e-cig - super-mini RN4081, becomes a collectable item 'D First pic I took of it to help folks work out the parts - way back in 2008 Lol, kind of hate to admit to the fact that I've hung onto one of the very first (yellow label) bottles of e-liquid produced by Totally Wicked

I think early GG's are already since vaping has become more widely heard of Roachie. . . . some owners further mod them with a gold plating.

I agree Perpy, I think the early GG's are already collectable items. And in the future I can imagine they could be worth a fortune. I've said it before, Imeo IMHO is not only an engineer but also a designer on the same level as Christopher Dresser.

Completely agree Chris . . . Bruce the US seller is trying to put together a GG museum I think, as Imeo has given away all his prototypes and early models.

Perpy, my GGTS especially, not only gives me the best vape but is a complete work of art. Would i sell it for a thousand pounds -no! A million though, I could be tempted On the other hand my limited addition yellow label TW bottle ..... in 50 years time might be worth the equivelant of 2 quid

Well Bruce is on the lookout . . . . although I think the latter is depreciating rapidly Chris.

I was interested to ask someone bout them when they first arrived. Could you get the extensive range of juice we have now? and i understand you didnt have foam or nething like that it was just a cart wasnt it? no refillible and how sturdy were the attys and batts back then? i was watching some old vids the other night of scott(igetcha69) and did make me laugh tbh just how he started off. Was the mirage one of the first? as that was from 2years ago. Im hopeing to get my other pc running again soon and find my webcam out so i can start doing reviews for new ecig channel.

Been vaping since early July 2008 Roachie. Not sure exactly when e-liquid became available but it certainly wasn't been sold in the UK back then. We had to buy prefilled cartridges & they weren't cheap.
The Mirage was one of the early ones but not the first. The first e-cig was invented by Hon Lik back in 2003/2004

I defininetly think the e cigs we are using today will be of massive interest to people in the future. I think in the future they will have all sorts of splendid ways of vaping. And our rides will look like museum pieces. I think their will be a market for early e cigs in years to come ..for sure. Especially once every last man has quit smoking. This is all assuming the govt doesn't find a strong enough spurious reason for banning them altogether.

I definately think that you're right, I also believe that electronic vaping of everything will become the norm! Has anyone seen the alcohol and food vaping machine? You put your vodka and tonic or whatever your poison is and vape it. It does the same with food you can vape a liquidised anything! Food for thought
