If your happier buying pre-made ss wicks go for it, but realy you would be a lot cheaper in the long run doing your own.

£3.39 for a single wick plus p+p I assume. It's so easy to make your own, I am a noob at it so if I can do it then you can too, ok I've made a few normal wicks but not many. Tonight I made my first u wick for my Aga-t2+ with .25 Kanthal A and it is awsome The wick is a bit high in the photos as I took them before I pushed it down a bit more. I just use my gas hob for oxidising. Next job is dual coils on it and then flat kanthal once it's gets here from Germany.

I appreciate all the feedback thanks but I have an electric fan oven no gas hob and didn't want to but a burner or mesh if I didn't like the end result it's basically for me to say I had a go, if I'm happy I will get what I need then bug you lot for tips n tricks if I don't like it it will be in classies FS next week
