Bloody hell! I can normally haggle myself into a new contract within 30min usually with the phone I want at a price I am willing to pay for the service. I have just been on the phone with 3 and the Carphone Warehouse for over 2 hours really doing my best to haggle something out of them (yes, I played them against each other and asked for the cancellations team and even started cancelling my contract.) I finally managed to say with my provider and get a Samsung Galaxy SIII no upfront fee, free delivery, free nano sim card, 500min + 2000min 3-2-3 calls + 5000min + totally unlimited data for 26 quid a month. I'm knackered! I actually wanted the Samsung Galaxy Note II but they wouldn't go below 36pm with another 69quid upfront!

try searching the net i have used both of these: www.mobiles.co.uk/www.affordablemobiles.co.uk/will add both are owned by carphone but you do find better deals than in the shops, also try Tesco, they use O2,but are only ones i know will cap your rate to your contract,so no surprise over mins etc ,surprisingly O2 wont ...weird lol

I'm out of contract now and want to replace my HTC Desire HD, best Orange were able to come up with was a HTC One X for £149.00 200 mins, unlimited txts and 750mb for £23 a month.
I have since checed the phones 4 u website and can get a LG Nexus 4 for free 300 mins, unlimited txtx and 750mb for the same money. I think I'll be doing that.
I was happy to have a Samsung galaxy SIII but just read the S4 is coming out soon, 16 mb HTC One X or a LG Nexus 4. So the deal on the Nexus is good for me.

thing will mention the S3 is very flexible and are prone to cracking screens if you have em in back pocket

The problem with people like carphone rather than going to the network provider is you only get 1 years warranty on the phone whereas (with three at least) you are covered for the duration of the contract.

The Nexus 4 is lovely but it's only £280 sim free for the 16GB one before you go getting a 24mth contract.

Wouldn't change it for anything (S4 is due out soon )
